  • My First Day Of Induction

I did good all day today. Now it's evning and I am squirming..I keep opening the refrigerator looking for something. I made some S.F. jello ( I don't like that stuff) but it's better than nothing. Is there anything else I can have?

Before you 'have' anything, drink some water. Sometimes we mistake thirst for hunger. If you are truly hungry, eat something fatty like celery with cream cheese, a boiled egg with some mayo or some pork rinds.

It really sounds like you are wanting to snack out of habit or boredom. When that happens, go find something to do to take your mind off food and you will soon forget all about it. A walk around the block will do wonders for you.

Hang tough! The first three days are the hardest.

      Sunny!
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

No matter what, getting through the first 3 days, where your body is searching high and low for it's carb fix and for carbs that give quit energy, NO MATTER WHAT, stay firmly on induction....
You can eat, go to your Induction chapter of the book and to the allowed foods.
Today and tomorrow can be pretty rough, a tremendous drop in energy, maybe headaches and or flu like symptoms. Your body is detoxing from the carbs....But by day 4 or 5, OH MY GOSH the BREAKTHRU is INCREDIBLE....so worth it, a week from now your energy should be up, and you should be getting settled into the beginning stages of this diet...It is soooo worth it.

Today is day 2. I haven't caved. I made a cup of hot decaf tea instead. Today I hardley ate at all. I have no appetitie and when I do eat, it goes right through me. I've been in the bathroom I bet 6 times so far today. What's going on?

I can't answer about the 'goes right through' I don't know enough about that.
            (Hardly eating isn't good either.....)

But I would recommend, bake up a big bag of the chicken legs and thighs, and you will always have something handy to grab to eat! (take them out of the bag first LOL!)

I ate a deviled egg and again it went right through me. I wonder if it isn't the fats that are doing it. I've done Atkins before, and never had this happen. Maybe i just picked up a bug...who knows
