WOW ive got a killer head ache

I am only on day 2 of induction, its been a long time since I tried to do Atkins or any kind of diet. I am at my highest weight and I refuse to get any heavier.
I guess I am doing a clean induction, hense the headache. I have been cutting back on coffee lately but I am sure this head ache is the result of 2 days without caffine. Oh well Ive done this befor and I know it goes away and I feel better. I am not sure how or why I always get back on the coffee.

I am lucky in the respect that my husband is ready to get back to AWOL. He is always very happy with this WOE. I always seem to have alot more cravings. So far I am full and content with my veggies meat cheese & eggs. BUT THIS HEADACHE wow you would think once I get off the coffee I would stay off so I dont have to keep going through this.
Although I am glad to just be back to the point that I am willing to try. I have gone for a very long period of just not willing to make an effort, and as a result I am heavier then ive ever been. But when I am in that state of mind there is no getting out of it. I just flat out dont care. I am not sure what it is that has made me care again, just grateful I do.

How bout Asprin is there a problem with a couple them on induction?
I know Exederin has loads of caffene in them, so those are out.

Have any of the Aleve GelCaps around? Those things work faster than anything I have ever tried, and my husband who has LOTS of aches and pains swears by them.

But aspirin, Tylenol, anything should be fine!

I've had a horrible headache for the past week. There is a lot of stuff blooming here so it may be allergies.

thnx for the responses, I am still toughen it out. I hate to take anything. Plus not being sure if the asprin would mess me up I just waited. It has gotten a lil better and then a lil worse again, but I know I am already through the worst of it. I t hink i hope :0)

You are detoxing and getting those sugars out of your system and that is why the big head crash! I had a headache for 3 days myself at the beginning.....soon you will feel great!

I took the Excedrin Migraine formula yesterday for mine... cleared it right up. Yes, I know it has caffeine I haven't given up my coffee yet either. One step at a time!

Aspirin should be fine on Induction. I am weaning off the coffee by brewing it with half decaf and have avoided the headaches. I am slowly inching up the amount of decaf in the pot in hopes of eventually reaching a full decaf state.

I have the same head swings as you do--I will go great for 7 or 8 months and then lose the desire completely to keep going. It starts with slipping in one area, like taking vitamins or doing my daily walking, and then snowballs. Now, when I notice myself slipping in one little area I try to force myself to fix that right away. I feel like they all affect each other. If I am not getting my supplements, the cravings start.Then I go off plan. Then I am depressed. If I slip up with exercise I am not getting those feel good endorphins and I start to lose my drive. It is a very narrow path and there are slippery slopes on all sides so I have to watch where I am going all the time.

Glad you found your way back and I am keeping fingers crossed that ADBB can help you stay focused to the end (and beyond) this time!

you could also be detoxing from the sugar, but yeah...caffeine headaches are special. do you have any peppermint oil?

I seem to get them every day betwen say 10am to 3pm. Not sure if it's a blood sugar thing or what, but it's a pain

Well its a lil better today, I still have not had any coffee so Im sure thats the dull headache. Ive been drinking tons of water which is EZ thats what IVe been drinking for years, since the last time I tried AWOE. Ive gotten use to lots of water, and I know the headaches will pass. as I said its a lil better today. Thnx for all the responses.
