  • Roll Call 7/30

    Good Morning! I don't see a roll call yet so I guess I'll start.

    Off to work in a few. It is supposed to be a hot one here in Chicago. Had a bit of a setback yesterday...gave in to some sweetener and butter...which I was trying to stay away from both. BUT today is a new day and I a chance to have a go at it again.

    why on earth are you staying away from butter?

    I started OWL and lost one more lb. so I guess it's a go, ha! if it starts sneaking back up after TOM, I'll go back to induction. I feel WAY more prepared to do it right this time than last.

      Good morning everyone! Today is Day 1 for me of my restart. I weighed in at 162 this morning. I really think I'm ready to finally commit to this WOL completely this time. I'm really excited to start losing lbs and feeling better about myself again!

        Day 10... I feel awful. Honestly, it's like I have the induction flu all over again. So I am concerned that I managed to push myself out of induction over the weekend, and then back in. I don't know, I just know I feel like I want to curl up in a ball and croak .

          Good Morning. I was somewhat bad yesterday. I picked up a friend from the airport and he wanted to go to the Spaghetti Factory for pasta for dinner. I ate ok. I had steamed broccoli with mizithra cheese and butter and the chicken marsala w/o the pasta. I scrapped off most of the sauce from the chicken. I think the problem lies in the fact that this was at 9pm. I know its not good to eat so late at night.

          Anyway, I am off to start my day and go to work.

            :0) day 10, its all good. Im losing at steady pace,nothiung spectacular but losing, better then gaining. My headachs seem to be a thing of the past :0) I had to get some flaxseed 2 tspoons in some spag squash and Im all better. Anywhere from pink to almost dark purple on the pee sticks.

            Im eating a piece of Tuna Steak, I dont know why Ive spent my hole life saying i dont like it, its really pretty good, right off the grill almost like a real piece of steak.

            alrighty chin up full bore onward.

              good day today, a little luncheon at work, they grilled burgers. They looked at mine funny with no bun, just a touch of mayo, red onions and tomatoes and a couple of pickles! I just said I hate white bread, which is basically true. Pretty much nothing else there I could eat and I didn't even care. I had no trouble passing up pies and cobblers today, so maybe at my conference in two weeks I will be okay.

              Something about filling up in the morning on stick to your ribs sausage and eggs....

              I don't avoid butter, not by a long shot. I buy the good real butter, no icky margarine spread!

                Helloooooooooooooooooo!

                Dr's appt yesterday went well - having some bloodwork done - I think I have a clotting disorder - let's hope I really am just a hypo
                Also going to see a dermatologist for a spot on my arm. I can't get in till next month though - so I'll be a nervous wreck until then -super!

                Spin class this morning - hanging with the homies now, waiting for kiddie #3 to wake up from nap so we can go do something - I can't just sit in the house.

                I really want to go to the pool, but I feel like a douchebag for wanting to hang in the sun - yeah, that will help my uneasiness about the spot on my arm - ugh!

                Holding at 105 - nothing has changed - which is good

                  i am trying to avoid butter and all dairy because i believe that candida is causing me to stall and lose pretty slowly! otherwise...i would definitely not be avoiding it! much love for butter!!

                    I thought butter didn't feed candida, but all the rest of the dairy family did? I could be totally wrong though.

                    seems to me that xylitol doesn't feed candida either!
