    Good morning Stacers

    Day 3 here and I am feeling a ton better! I think I have so much more energy from returning to low carb as well as dialing down the endurance level (for my body) exercise I was doing. I feel like a new person!

    Really the joy of feeling good in the food dept. is starting to brew to the surface. I am one of those people who thrives on Atkins. Absolutely thrives. It is so much more than a diet to loose weight on, it's all about feeling great! It's all about food and it's control lessening in my life!

    Hi Jess. It's great to see you doing so well now that you're back on plan and I know what you mean about thriving on Atkins because I'm the same way. I just can't metabolize bad carbs, they really do a number on me.

    You are such an inspiration to us and I always make a point of reading your posts. Keep up the good work!

        Good morning, up and trying to get motivated to pack for my trip. Must take daughter to the High School to take a test for Honors English, then go to work for a few hours and make sure my dept. is straight before I take off.

        I figure I can fanny pack a boiled egg and string cheese and green pepper strips tomorrow. I got a little deli pack of mayo to put on the egg!

          Good morning Everyone! Reading all this enthusiasm is such a fun way to start the day.

          This is Day 11 for me on induction. Yesterday was a scary day because even though my net carbs (16) were fine for the day, I ate 2300 calories. That is WAY more than I ever would on a low-fat diet. But I'm sticking with the principles, drank A LOT of water and was honestly that hungry. I'm getting back into running since I really haven't been able to do for 6 weeks because of a surgery and I added lifting weights yesterday also. I'm also sticking to the principles and don't want to cheat the effects of this diet so we'll see. I was up a half pound but I seem to always be up in weight the day before I show a good loss, so I'm crossing my fingers!

          Have a great low carb day!

            Hi everyone.
            Day 8 for me on induction.
            Things are kind of stressfull here but trying to not seek solace in food. Tommorrow is a new day. This afternoon I'm taking the kids swimming to try to get rid of some of this negativity at home.

              oh man, the nuts. so much goodness. I think once I hit berries, if I'm not stalling from them, i'll stay there for awhile. I don't need to drink yet, and I have zero desire for legumes or grains.

                good evening. worked later again tonight than i would have liked. browned some ground turkey and ate it over some salad greens, onion, avocado, and then squeezed some lemon juice over it for my "dressing". it was pretty good. well i'm off to relax, watch some olympics, and then call it a night!

                  I have been cheat free for 2 whole days! This is big for me since I keep giving in and eating whatever I feel like. I have to lose 10 more pounds until I make my goal of 117. It seems like this Summer I have given into way to many temptations (cake) and taken way to many breaks when it comes to exercising. I made a promise to my friend Andrea that I would get back on track with her. We can do this my friend!! I have started fitday again and spinning class. Please give me the strength to continue this WOE without cheats and to exercise.

                    I'm right there with you mimom! I've been having the hardest time staying on track with my food choices. I'm drinking my water and I'm working out but what good is that when I'm eating all the wrong stuff?
