Hello. My name is Rachel. I did Atkins back in 2005 and lost about 15lbs. I kept getting terrible stomach upsets from it though, and finally figured out I just can't seem to handle any artificial sweeteners (which really doesn't help!). I later discovered I can eat Stevia, which was better than nothing

I started LC again in Nov of 2007 and I lost about 25lbs in all. During the summer I've managed to gain back about 8lbs or so (had to travel out of state to visit family, hard to stay on plan while staying at other people's houses!), and I'm trying to get back on track before I'm back to square one (which will really be depressing). Yesterday I made two lovely LC cheesecakes with stevia, so that will help me when I'm craving something sweet. Also made a huge salad, which is all ready to go with whatever meat we've cooked that day. My mother and I live together and she doesn't do LC so every time I go back on LC I have to just ignore all her low fat stuff. She eats pretty "healthy" but sometimes simple things like bananas are so tempting. Arugh. Once I'm back on plan for a week I'm able to pass up most anything, it's just getting through that first few days that is the hardest!

Anyway, glad to have found this board and looking forward to "meeting" all of you.

Welcome back to the LC lifestyle. Your pictures look great and really not that much to lose to get back to your low weight. Hoping induction helps you get there quickly and then you reach your goal weight quickly.
I hear you about the artificial sweetners. I can eat sweet n low. And very little of anything else because if I eat too much it gets to me (how's that for portion control). I though have never tried stevia in anything and you should make your way over to recipes and post some. I'm always open to trying something new.
restart 16-18/8-12 (crazy sizing)/love to get into some 6's

I'll try to post my LC chocolate cheese cake made with Stevia tomorrow.
