    I'm with Oz - Monday is my least favorite day of the week Making a commitment today to make sure I get enough water -

    Wishing I didnt get on the scale more than once this morning It was down 2 lbs now it's down 1 for the week *sigh*

    At least it moved!!!

      Morning every body. Day 1 is here. I am done with the triathlon and all the training and am going back to 30mins of running a day and induction level eating. Time to loose the 20 so pounds I just foolishly allowed in my life.
      I've had a qt of water already and have worked out on the treadmill 30mins. Feeling good, while I sit here and eat eggs and I have to tell you it is exciting to know I've not put anything in my mouth that will cause a crash!!!!

        G'day All, yeah, 1st day of fall, almost a frost on my car this a.m. Just last week we had 80 degree temps. Ah, the schizophrenic weather of the NW, keeps you on your toes! Speaking of that, I plan to have my first yoga class in a while today after my first day of school. Jess, so glad you made it through your triathlon, and Day 1 is a great place to be! Congrats on making it to Day 1. Today is also Day 1 of the 6-wk Exercise Challenge, I know several who post here are enrolled, so that's why I'm taking the yoga class. It was kind of daunting yesterday to post my measurements but once I got it over with it was okay! Keep up the good work, grniidgrl, I just know you are going to see the results you're working for... Hope everyone has a great Motivated Monday...

        Goal 3: Walk, exercise bike, golf, or yoga 15-30 min, 3x/wk. Consistency counts more than anything.

          hello!

          I am stressed to the nth degree today, I have a job evaluation, which scares me because I've been making really dumb mistakes at work over the past month. ack!

          I had my first derby practice last night and it was great! SUCH a good workout. they gave us exercises to do off the track too, and I can't wait to get started. we did a few practice falls and my butt hurts today from them! I hope I get on a team once the "bootcamp" is all said and done.

            Morning all!

            Feeling good this morning - Getting ready to head off to "Body Combat" class. HIIIIIIIYAAAHHHH! (think karate chop to the neck)
            I am thinking of devoting more time to lifting. I do an awful lot of cardio and I do lift, I just think I should be doing more, so that's 1 of my new goals - to lift more and become STRONGER
            Goal #2 is to sign up for ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification. I've been thinking of doing this for a while and figure, why not? I spend so much time in the gym, I may as well get paid for it (eventually...)

              Good morning It feels like autumn this morning. Chilly and crisp. I love it. I'm trying to read the boards this morning to get up to speed in this forum then breakfast then off to get some work done. I love starting my morning with a good read, so off I go!

                    Forgot something.. I am proud of me.. i did NOT get on the scales this morning.. I am going to continue to weigh myself on Sunday's and just eat right in between.... I was bad about weighing everyday...

                      Good morning STACer's. Glad to hear everyone is doing well. I hope you all don't mind that I continue to check in even though I'm not re-starting induction until Wednesday. I need to stay focused so that 2 days doesn't become 2 more months, and checking in and keeping up with each of you helps keep me focused. Even though I'm not in induction I have been monitoring my carbs, no sweets or binging, eating healthy, just a few more carbs.
                      1st Goal ~ 199 Onderland -Met 3/29/10
                      2nd Goal ~ 174 No longer obese
                      3rd Goal ~ 150 In the home stretch
                      Final Goal ~ 145 or below (I'll know when I get there) No longer overweight

                      Current Mini Goals:
                      1) 35 pounds lost
                      2) 40 pounds lost to move to Rung 5

                        I think that is a smart stragegy, you are still 'thinking Atkins' while you gear up to doing it.

                        Got back from taking daughter to see doctor for pinkeye, eating a hamburger patty with sautee'd onions for lunch. Will eat a small salad too, and taking a big one to work for dinner. Feeling good, glad this child will be able to go back to school tomorrow! She is in all AP classes and will have so much work to do!

                          Good Afternoon All! Had tried to post earlier today but it didnt post- oh well its Monday

                          I envy all of you who are talking about fall weather and the cool crisp in the air! Yet another hot and muggy day here in south Louisiana- AC cranked up full blast...

                          DH is really supporting me in this endevour- him with his ability to eat all day and nite and never gain and ounce! He thought it would help me if I set some mini goals to break the total weight to lose down into smaller sites- which makes alot of sense! He also thought a massage when I reach the halfway point would be a great incentive! So woo hoo looking forward to that!

                          Hope everyone continues having fun this Monday!

                            Hello everyone I am so jealous of you with nice, cool fall weather already! It's still hot here in AZ. Still running the AC. Still getting stuck with a huge electric bill :P Can't wait until it's cool enough to start walking during daylight!

                            Barb - You don't know me but I wanted to offer some encouragement! I think it's great to continue checking in. I started reading posts and began my journal prior to restarting. It really helped me prepare for Induction. It was kind of like a "refresher" course I know I had forgotten a few things. It was also so encouraging to read others' success stories. Reminded me why we follow this WOE. Good luck Wednesday!

                            Does anyone know where I can find nitrate free bacon?
