  • Third time's a charm!?

The first time I was on the Atkins program in 2000, I did almost everything right on Induction, read the book, etc. I lost 30 lbs in 2 months. But when I lost it, I went right back to my old way of eating, expecting my weight to stay the same.

I love breads, sweets, and high carbed food, but it doesn't love me. I end up eating too much and being hungry soon after eating. Also, I always fet sluggish after a high carbed meal.

I tried Atkins again last year for a couple of months. I was travelling a lot and didnt' plan my meals like I should have. It was hard! I never want to eat another boiled egg again! I just felt so limited on what I could eat!

Here I am again, because I know that this plan works. It's me that is the problem. I have been on Induction for a week and have lost 4 lbs. I hope that I will continue this WOE for the rest of my life. I am dissappointed in my failure, but am looking forward to a better future i.e. no high blood pressure, no diabetes or choleterol problems.

I will try to post each day because I do need support. I'm not much of a chatter, though (I know it doesn't seem like it with this intro). Wish me well as I wish all of you great success!

We are so glad you are back and sooooo glad that this does work for you. I love atkins because my body thrives on this way of eating. So start it up, follow the rules and get into the swing of things!
