  • I'm back...

    And I'm ashamed of myself. I've been trying to get back on the wagon for at least 9 months and I'm still struggling, but today I made a great choice. I had the opportunity to cheat, but today is day 1 of Atkins and I'm sticking to it!

    I wish this was only my second time around, but man it's been a rough road getting to this point. *sigh*

    Anyway, I look forward to getting to know all of you

    Hi, Hoping Well, you're in the right place! Check in often and join in some of the challenges ... they keep you focused and help you feel part of the community. Anyway, you're here and that's a great start ... and, no beating yourself up! Look forward to a healthy future!

      Yes, I want to echo fldoodette, no self bashing. You've made a great choice for mental, emotional, and physical health. Just keep making that choice every minute, hour, and day, and in just no time you'll be trucking along like you can't believe. Stay tuned to this board, read around it and get educated, inspired, motivated, and put your 2 cents in where you think it will make a difference. Make a difference in someone else's day, and let others make a difference in your day. It will totally help you to become part of the community...good job, you made it back!

      Goal 1: Successful 14-day Induction, started
      9-8-08, met on 9-21-08: -6.3 lb, -7.75 inches WOO HOO!

      Goal 2: Lose 10% bodyweight, 19.6 pounds

      Goal 3: Walk, exercise bike, golf, or yoga 15-30 min, 3x/wk. Consistency counts more than anything.

      DON'T START OVER, GO FORWARD!
