  • Disappointed and upset

    Like many of you i also fell off the wagon
    I have been soooooooooooooo sad that i cant even put in words.
    I have been reading around the forum trying to gain strength.
    My kiddos birthdays will be coming up next month, and i staleast need to loose some weight before that and make atkins MY WAY OF LIFE ( not only for some goals, but make it the ultimate goal)

    I am restarting from tomo, 8th oct, and it will mean alot to me if all you wonderful ppl out there help me with it.

    I would love to take up the water challenge if we are having it this october, and liv if you are reading, sorry for not completing it for september!

    I am determined and the main reason i WANT to do is for my kids..

    Hi, Mummy, and so sorry you have the sads ... so you did a little backsliding? Welcome to the human race! Don't waste another second beating yourself up for it ! Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life ... a healthy life ... just get back on the program and look forward, not back! You can do it!

      Heck fire! We all slide sometime or other. If we didn't we wouldn't be human. It doesn't mean you abandoned the whole diet! You're fine! Jump back in with both feet and enjoy the ride!

          And I agree with the others, don't beat yourself up. I've been in this since January and sometimes happens. You just have to move on.

          My advice is not to start tomorrow but today! Don't have a high carb lunch or dinner. Go for something Atkins-friendly. It will make you feel much better, and knowing that you're back on track NOW and not LATER will lift your spirits.

            Great idea to get involved with a challenge. It will give you something to focus on, it will give you something to do...this will help you get your eyes off the disappointing slide and into the progressive swing upward! You go girl, shake off the bad, and start building up the good!

              So you fell off the wagon. Happens to the best of us.
              Just think of how many calories you'll burn running to catch up to it again.

                Yes you have our fullest support! We've all been there.
                I agree 100% that the Exercise Challenges are the unexpected "silver bullet" in this WOL since they get you moving, toning, getting stronger physically and mentally. Mental toughness gets you through the slippery times.
                So next time you find yourself singing something like, "I kissed a cookie and I liked it," just go right back to your routine of exercise and good eating habits.

                    Hang in there hun! That is why this is the second time around club.
                    Hoping the weight falls off quickly! and the induction flu stays away!
