  • Extremely Frusterated

Hi im carissa and im a carbohydrate addict...

I have been on and off this diet for many many years. I once lost 60 pounds in 4 months. But i got pregnant and gained it all back and then some. I have gone into it this time around thinking it would work about the same way for me... boy was i WRONG!

My body has been so resistant this time around. I will get on the scale and it will read i have lost 4 pounds and the next day its back up those four pounds and stays that way for a week or 3 .... then down one and up one... I KNOW I KNOW. throw my scale away . i should. but i cant bring myself to do it. I started almost 3 months ago and as of right now have lost 27 pounds. yes i am loosing and that is wonderful. but to me is discouraging that i am not loosing nearly as fast as i did last time. I have cut out all cheese and all sweetners and even cut out my caffiene. I am drinking like a fishy. I have ketosis stick witch i am always in ketosis.

Anyways, i am wondering how normal this is for weight to jump down and up and stay like that for so long? I have never had this problem before.

I'm feeling the same. I'm in ketosis but my weight isn't coming off nearly as fast as my first time around. It's frustrating. Especially when your body "plays" around with the same few pounds for awhile. Are you working out?

Yeah im working out 3-4 times a week. cardio and spin class. I'm trying to switch my workout routine up a bit. see if maybe that changes anything.

It's nice to know im not the only one.

same here, except this is my first time one Atkins.
i was losing weight only during my first week of induction, and this was 7 weeks ago.
now i havent lost anything since that time, and i still go up and down a couple of pounds frequently. im hating it and its getting frustrating. i hear ya!
          will I stay this way?
