  • Going out to eat..

    I'm going to to Friday's tonight. Is there anything safe for Induction on the menu? I know what they have but I'm sooo worried about hidden carbs. I've heard of sugars being added to meat and chicken. I've also heard that some places boil their broccoli in the same water as potatoes, which (I was told) causes starch to "attach" itself to the broccoli. Is this even true?

    My first time around I ate @ Friday's all the time. However, that was 5 years ago and I was losing much faster then. I have be so strict this time!

    Starch won't attach to broccoli. But you could specify you want it steamed if you like. Have a steak! You can't hardly add carbs to a steak, as long as it isn't chicken fried! Steak, salad, steamed veggies, you're set!

      You know, you really can add carbs to a steak. Outback, Longhorn, Logans and all those place have their "prairie dust, etc" that they use to season their steaks. It has something like 58 different seasonings in it.

      Last time I ordered mine without the prairie dust but it came with it anyway. I just ate it....

        Friday's has alot of Low carbs options....great place to eat out! Drink alot of water before going out, and during being out!
