  • 2nd time is a charm, I hope (vent)

    Hello,

I am back on induction after a several month hiatus. I truly want to feel and look better. I am on day 3 and have been ridden with induction flu. In addition I am fantasizing about ice cream and fruits and cake and chocolate and peanut butter. I have not caved in and don't plan to, but this is hard, very hard. I've been a hardcore carb junkie all of my life and therefore, giving it all up has not been easy.

I hope you all don't mind me venting. I just want to know that I'm not alone. I know I seem like a crybaby now but hopefully in a few days the pity party will be gone!

It's good to be back. I often come here to help keep myself on track.

Welcome back Eselte. Induction flu is the pits but remember your body is getting rid of toxic sugar. It will pass just hang on tight & ride it through. You'll be rewarded with an abundence of energy!

Post often, ask questions, feel free to vent, start a journal & join a challenge or two.

I never had the induction flu, but it took me a few days to re-focus my thoughts the second time around. Lots of water helps!

Welcome back! It's hard to get restarted after a haitus, but you can do it. You can find your commitment and determination to stay focused on your goals. This might sound strange, but if you have less than 30 pounds to lose, you'll find a slower weight loss over a longer period of time worth the planning and effort. Remember that this is a way of eating for life and by that you will be changing your eating and exercise habits to match the new you inside and out!
