  • Monday Roll Call~~October 20

    I really dislike Monday mornings & to top it off DH woke me up 30" late. I have a routine & now I'm forced to improvise. So instead of letting it set the tone of my day I'm doing some deep breathing & getting my butt in gear!

    Hope you all have a wonderful day. Drink your H20 & get some exercise today along with doing something kind for yourself!!

    Monday morning! I got to work in my new skirt, looked down and realized that I should've worn a slip!!!

    Now I'm confined to my classroom for the rest of the day!!! No wandering the halls for me, today.

    But it's a new skirt and it's cute and it's a size 12.

    Tomorrow is Weigh Day and I'm feeling good about that.

    I'm still having big problems about the "going to the bathroom" thing. I was at the doctor's the other day and told him about it. Yuch! He said I needed to go every other day at the minimum and if I don't, I need to take something.

    He and I think it's a combination of lowcarb and also living in the travel trailer. Apparently I have some kind of psychological problem with going to potty in the travel trailer! I guess I could try to take a shovel and go in the woods???

    Maybe I could have this talk with my builder and it will make him hurry up on building the house????

    Anyway, I drink plenty of water, eat plenty of fiber and take the psyllium husk capsules. NONE OF THAT helps and I'm miserable!!

    So I took a laxative yesterday and if that isn't just the most miserable experience of my life... Jeez! Scared to sneeze.

      good morning all!

      I'm so fricking tired. I usually sleep in on the weekends, which is to say catch up on my sleep. this weekend, I was up by 7 both mornings with stuff to do. I'm really, really feeling it today!

      I've also been really slack with my food. not cheating, mind you, but I've just been unmotivated to cook and am just looking to not be hungry, you know? also, and it's probably the time of year, I'm really having sweet cravings. though if I ate a chocolate bar, I'd probably choke from the sweetness. also, my back is officially injured, so I won't be playing derby this year. I have to find a new form of exercise that I like as much as skating! that'll be hard!

      anyway...complain, complain, complain, eh?

        Steady, how did you hurt your back? I am so sorry!

        Kelly, I can see how it would be hard to 'go' in a travel trailer. Even if no one else was there, you would feel like everyone could hear you. Maybe play loud music? And make sure you are getting the recommended dose of psyllium and not overdoing, too much fiber can be as bad as too little for backing you up. Hope it gets better.

        Trying to get 144 half square triangle pressed and squared for quilt blocks. Trimming is the boring part of quilting!

          Ok, Its my "Official" first day back on Atkins. Wish me luck, although I have a much different attitude this time. I will do this and do it right!!!! I know how the first three days felt last time so I'm preparing myself. This time with "legal" induction foods on hand and ready to go for that first massive craving. Hope you all are having continued success.....

            Funny. I don't know if it's the "noise" that I can't go to the bathroom. It's more like the space. The toilet is very tiny...
