  • rung question

Ok, so I've done two weeks of dairy (cottage cheese, whole milk) and I'm still losing. I'd like to move onto the nut rung, but I have a question. Can I move onto the nut rung and not eat dairy everyday? I'd like to add almonds but not necessarily eat almonds and have cottage cheese or milk on the same day. I figure I'll have the dairy on the other four days this week that I'm not trying out the almonds. I guess my question is...do I have to eat all the previous rungs on the same day? I know it's important to eat the veggies, but is it just as important to eat from the other rungs as well? For example, when I get to the fruit rung, should I be eating veggies, dairy, nuts and berries each day? Or can I choose from which rungs I eat each day? I hope I'm making sense here!

    Thanks,
    Kris

    Re: rung question

definitely you don't have to eat dairy everyday. When you get to the grain rung, you don't have to have dairy, nuts, berries everyday, for example. Allowed, but not required. So if you switch out, that is fine. I don't eat nuts everyday, for example. (I am eating berries everyday though.. they like me!)
