I am here. Not on plan today... I just got around to reading the sticky "Induction Flu" which relates to me PERFECTLY. I get nausea every time I go back into ketosis and it has gotten worse each time... But, right now I'm not on because I got the real deal stomach flu, as well as almost everyone who attended my son's bday party on Saturday...
It's been horrible, and when I'm ill, I know the carbs aren't a solution, but they do go easier on my stomach than meat, oil, cheese, and veggies and such... when I have too much stomach acid and puke and all that nastiness, bread seems to stop it up pretty quick.
I haven't been going crazy with carbs though, I've ate very little in the last couple days, and with all the sickness I doubt I've even gained weight from it. My plan is to restart tomorrow mornign fresh and not weigh for a week, just so I don't have to feel the sting of those carbs.
I'm just hoping when I do go back into ketosis that I don't get the induction flu and have it throw me back into the sickness... I'll stay strong though and differentiate between the two, and not let it sway me back into carbage.
My fridge is fully Atkins stocked (as usual), but tonight even for dinner I tried eating chicken drumsticks prepared Atkins-style and I couldn't do it... Food still tastes funny to me... We shall see what tomorrow brings.
