Hi all. I just joined this forum to re-start up the Atkins. I originally did it back in 2004 and lost 94 pounds. I had an inverted t-tummy tuck in 2005 where they took off over 6 pounds of excess skin. At the time of surgery I was 170 pounds. Since then I've gained about 25 back, but I've maintained my current weight of 195 for about 1 1/2 years. Gained it back during a bad time in my marriage, then got separated in '06 and am currently going through the divorce proceedings.
I'm a single full-time parent to my 7 year old son and want to get into shape and back on track to be able to keep up with him, and to kinda start life over now on a good note.
I've been sticking to induction about 85% of the time, we are low income, so sometimes I dont have the necessary groceries to commit 100% of the time, but in order to compensate for the times i have a carb or two, I do exercise DAILY. I've noticed a change in my clothes in the past week, just not the scale. I currently am commited to my Turbo Jam workouts and do cardio or strength training alongside ab work every day.
Just looking for support and new friends going through this a second time like me. So, hi all!
