Boy am I thankful for ADBB, it's always right here where I left it on my tool bar! It's at the top of my favorites, and always one click away.
When you scroll down through all the forums it is obvious that this is a large community caring for a broad spectrum of people and the places they find themselves. My Thanks this year on Thanksgiving to TOM who began this site and still runs this site and has created a huge community. My thanks to the Administrators who quietly work long and hard behind the scenes. My thanks to all the moderators who watch over things and keep it all running smoothly.
Thank you all for making this a place I want to return to and be apart of.
My journey is over 2 yrs long now. 2 years a go a small group of friends organized a group exercise challenge and I started on the treadmill. It eventually led to me entering the Peachtree Road Race with my friend Adena who comes here. That led to triathlons and a more active life.
As my journey with low carb has gone on my life expanded and I was able to do what I did not use to be able to do in sport.
Some times I am distant, but never far in my heart from the reality that ADBB is why I was able to maintain my focus for so long. It is a wonderful real place, full of awesome people. All of us carry within a desire to be better, and reach new places of healthiness! Press on friends, press on!
