Good morning STACers. I am up early and heading out the door to work out with one of my "fitness girls". We are walking up steep hills this morning, getting in shape for the mountain we have to climb as a group in Feb. It's in the 20's outside, so it's sure to be an inspiring time!!!
Paying a price now, for results later. We are investing now, and look to accomplish our goal later. My fitness girl is 53 yrs old, and has gone from no exercise, to exercising 4 times a week. She has left couch potatoe world behind....I know she has never done anything like this before, and it will rock her world. I hope it is the beginning of many many trips up this hill. The trick with fitness as with diet is to develop it in such a way as it's not a means to an end, but a lifestyle that you just maintain in good and bad times. Walking is one of those things that we can do forever, if your health and limbs hold up.
