  • 5th time around club anywhere?!

So here I am, back again and this time I hope life will not get in the way. There are many reasons I have quit however my reason for starting this time is nothing but....why not...i am taking it lighter and just letting it be not focusing to much on it, it seems to be working well. Cravings left within 2 days, and everything just went and I am now 1 week 1 day in and as i have been eatting healthy stuff the last while find I am not having such an issue. I am not dwelling on the past however I dont care to look behind because I have worked hard the last few months to get from 297 to 280 and then last Sat I went back on Atkins and I am 12 lbs from my lowerst weight of the 2000's. I always lose fairly quick but get discouraged when i hit my lowest weight ive been, cause it gets stuck, however I feel confident this time I will just get through it because if I hadda out in a bit more effort I would not be trying to hit my lowest weight 1st goal:P

This time I am not going to watch the scale or sweat the way my body chooses to show weight loss and focus on the bigger picture as I love hiking and I am getting sick of carrying this weight up and down those mountains...

    You all are amazing

Welcome back! I can definitely relate with your situation. I've been on-again, off-again for the past few years and finally decided that it's time to dedicate myself completely. I find that if I don't obsess about trying to lose weight and just go through everyday as I usually would (minus the carbs, of course ) then I tend to do great and not have an issue with cravings or anything of the such.

    Good luck!

Thank you, it is nice to have people around who know how hard it is to stay on track and looking back at the people I know from the past few seeing here and there it is incredible of your changes. Gives me hope and light that this to will pass if I relise I am not on a diet but it is my new life.

Cynna, it is true obsessing less helps hehe.
My Holiday was good - I put a chocolate in my mouth let it touch my teeth and spit it out rinced my mouth and laughed cause I almost gave in:P

I am hoping to be dedicated again, i think after my first time, I just reused atkins cause it was easy and when it stopped being easy (stalling at 270-260-250) Now I am just aware the stalls are there, they will happen but really it it easier just gaining the weight back anyways. I did a chart once to figure out how much I have lost total after the drop the gain etc etc....haha so within the last 4 years 140 lbs approx... teehee that would have made me under my goal weight. I am not concerned dwelling or anything like that with it. I am here to win not to fail again however in the back of my mind I know this is the last chance cause I cannot keep jumping.

However to those who think about putting that cookie in there mouth, or going to a restaurant and just taking that treat meal, it is not a good choice, i was doing well my last time then I met my best friend who would eat eat eat with me, atkins and then she would eat other stuff and one day she wanted me to go to Red Robins, SO we went and I am looking around the menu and just not feelin the good choices so I decide...why not just get a wrap...you know what i got with it....fries, and then cause I ate the fries I figured **** its a cheat day, I will eat some desert. Next day, no gain...YEY!!!! so I losen the rains a bit, and start making exceptions if small amounts, or when there was nothing but non atkins choices I would make an exception....and another and another, then all asudden before I know It i was off the scale, off the plan...I have no idea where it went. With me when I get off the plan for life, I do not gain fast till my body relises this is not a temp situation.

You forget it by tomorrow so why eat it today right....this is what i battle with myself but I have only had one craving so far and ya...that is all it takes

This is a long post I know and if no one reads it that is okay cause really I just like to hear myself talk sometimes and to I know if someone who is wanting to stop sees it and thinks a little bit more then its benifical, non the less helpful to me

Everyone is so supporting and I appreciate the wishes of luck and kindness I would have just ignored me by this time

            I'm so glad you're here!

You're so right, it is tough or rather a challenge to battle losing weight and staying focused. But we're worth that challenge to win the battle....keep that in mind! You're worth it!
