  • how'd ya do? :)

    over christmas?

I broke down and had a small piece of salted caramel. my niece made it, and WHOA was it ever good! other than that, I was actually good all day. kicked off the day with low-carb pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, and bacon. mmmmm!

tomorrow, very low carbs altogether, lots of fat. I'm scared I'm going to have cravings after that!

    happy holidays everyone!

Not a good day for me food wise. Today is a new day & a new beginning. I don't need to punish myself as I physically feel terrible with the carbage swirling through my body~~detox here I come.

      Re: how'd ya do?

Yesterday was not the typical Christmas with my husband's family since they don't celebrate (due to religion), but they did have a huge meal planned since his parents flew into town. Basically, there was absolutely nothing I was allowed to eat, so I had an Atkins friendly meal before going over there.

Good to hear that you are both back on track!

I'm with Glenda. No need to punish ourselves in any way...the body's doing a great job taking care of the reminder what not to do.

It's not only one day at a time, but one meal at a time

Yesterday was day 15 for me -- and I did not cheat! My mom also follow Atkins, so we made a very low-carb friendly family dinner.

If you did fall, getting right back on the wagon is what counts!

                Re: how'd ya do?

                Hi Guys
I stepped off for Christmas. It was a conscious decision and I don't regret it. I am back on induction today and pleased to be back. In the old days, I used to over indulge all through December and then start a diet on 2nd January!
Well done to everyone for staying on or getting back on track.
                Merry Christmas xxx
