    Hi to all. I am back here after approx 1 year. I ate all the carbs i could handle and i am ready to start anew. i am still a coffee addict but i do like it with cream. lollll.. I am divorced now and proud to be.. now it is time to think of my self... I will have to look around in the introduction section to get motivated...

      looks like something has changed here.. when did the calorie count start ?

        Welcome back!

        There's still no calorie counting (unless I missed the message from Dr. A recently from beyond the grave), even though calories do count for something.

          Na sorry went looking around and saw something about calorie counting. My mistake.. It the same old than way back then.. and ya i got the book.. just mine is older than the 2002 one.

            I should have added that there are some calorie counters with exercise and getting closer to goal weight. There are a couple of people who watch their calorie intake carefully even on Atkins because they've learned how their body reacts to too many calories. It's all about getting to know your body again.

            I know I counted the number of calories burned compared to what I was taking in last summer to make sure I was getting to my max burning per pound workout doing the C25K training. It was a "fun" thing to do, but not serious enough to drive myself nuts keeping track of the amount of calories that I took in. Counting carbs is easier
