I am still here, been so busy with the end of the break, I just have not gotten on. But now I need this group more than ever. I need the site and the forward motivations it gives. These are exciting times....Onward!

I am here, feeling AWESOME!
My BFF who's doing Atkins with me is saying she is having a hard time sleeping...
Does anyone else have that problem?
I have the opposite now... I go down easy and wake up refreshed! So, it surprised me to hear her say that.
Oh well, I'm off to work a long double shift at work today, but I'm excited to eat a big ol' chicken and cheese salad for lunch, or maybe a bunless burger with all the fixins.
I hope everyone is really getting back into the swing of things and feeling great on this WOL!!!

Hi Guys
I have decided to do induction for a few days to try and shed the 2.5 pounds I put on over Christmas. All well today.
Gym tomorrow and girls go back to nursery so life will return to the usual routine!

Count me in today!! THe sun is shining but baby it is COLD outside!! Hope to make it to the gym later this afternoon, and if not the gym, I will run on my treadmill...........thats my plan. I have chick breasts and a pound of hamburger thawing, so I am ready at meal time! my grill is right next to the back door, so am able to grill to my hearts delight!! (stomachs delight??)

I'm here. Back on track after falling off induction yesterday, due to illness. I still feel terrible, but at least the stomach cramps are gone and I can eat induction foods today. One benefit of all the water I'm drinking is that it's breaking up the congestion in my lungs really well!
I may try the treadmill today, but get the feeling it will be at "Slowsky's" pace if I do

I am not weighing for the next few days (thanks to TOM). I really hope to get below 200 SOON! I am so sick of seeing a "2" at the beginning of my weight.

Hi everyone! I hope you all enjoyed yourselves on New Year's! I had a great time! We celebrated with family and friends this year at home. Lots of people, lots of food and lots of fireworks! Although I really wasn't planning on going off-plan, I decided to enjoy my very last and very first meal of the year and also have a drink or 2. I immediately went back to my usual plan and managed to avoid any "blah" feelings and weight gain. Even though I indulged, I made sure to limit it to a spoon or 2 and a bite of this or that. Most of my carbs were veggies to avoid myself from overdoing the sinful carbs.
Other than that, everything is all good here. It looks like my weight is stuck at the current spot, but I did manage to go from a size 24W to a 18W since starting my new WOE! Woo Hoo! I guess I'll have to go and buy another pair of "skinny jeans" and a shirt or 2 as my next "mini goal outfits"!
