    Hi everyone

    thought i would stop in and say hi... i posted in the intro forums as im new to this site but not new to atkins.

    Im beginning my 14 day clean induction tomorrow.. but i have one question to ask... can i use about 50ml of soy milk (unsweetened) or absolutely no? it has less carbs than regular milk i think?

    i know its not in the book but YMMV right? i HAVE to drink a couple of cups of tea per day, i use a sweetener tablet each time and its only about 10 ml of milk usually in each cup.

    if i must give it up i will.

    anyways, thats me saying hello from Blighty!

    Hi and welcome to ADBB!

    You've definitely come to the right place for support on your STA (second time around).

    As for the soy milk, if it's not on the list then you should avoid it for now. Soy is a part of the legumes rung and should be treated as one no matter what form it is in. You could use some double cream in your tea. Just make sure to stick to the amount allowed per day. Since the double cream is heavier, you only need a tiny bit in each cup of tea.
