  • Roll Call for Wednesday, 7 January 2009!

    Hello and Good Morning fellow STACers!

    I am SO pumped today and I hope you are too! It is almost the end of the very first week of 2009 and it has been really good so far! We here have made a commitment to making ourselves better in 2009 and we are well on our way! How has this week been for you guys? Have you made it a week you are proud of or one you can improve on next week? I think I've done both- I am happy with what I did this past week and I am looking forward to doing even better next week! I'm down to 176 this morning! It is a water filled, end of TOM whoosie but I will take it!

      I'm a little bit of both I think, too. I'm proud of what I've done this week, coming back and all, but I know I could exercise more next week and eat better meals. I need to make sure I'm getting all my veggies!

        GM STACers. Thanks for your breakfast tips yesterday. Today I got my a-- out of bed and made breakfast! Staying on plan, drinking my water, not feeling guilty about what I eat. What a pleasant feeling that is! Have a great day.

          morning! i slept like a rock last night and definitely didn't even hear the alarm..thank goodness for my husband! the first words out of my mouth were "is today thursday?" darn. getting a little ahead of myself. this first week back at work is moving a bit slow for me! but my eating is very on track and i've been working out several times a week too. happy hump day!

            Good morning STACers! I'm on track too now that all the holiday goodies gone, not that I ate any but they were tempting. Because they are gone, I'm eating even less of the foods I should be eating and getting more salads which is helping keep me full with less of the more dense foods. The turkey salad (ground turkey with mayo kind) was a major temptation for me because I could eat it by the quart if I let myself.

            But all is well and I'm doing great and I wish all of you the same!

              This week has been a wonderful week, I broke my stall that I was stuck on before thank God. Well I'm off now to go walking see yall later .

                So cold here again today!! But I am thinking maybe it will be a little less cold this afternoon, so will keep myself busy this morning and then go to 24 hour fitness this afternoon and do a 45 minute run on the treadmill and then do some weights. THats the plan and since I told you about it, I will follow through!!

                  It's been a great week so far. Excercised 4 out of 6 days. Water intake doing well, and following plan to a T. So I can say my first week back is going good. Have a great day all!

                    Today is my 3rd day back on plan, and I'm down almost 5 lbs! Take THAT, One Golden Shot theory!

                    I'm pretty happy with myself for what I've done this week, but definitely look to improve next week. I'd like to add one more day of exercise, and do a better job of planning out what foods I'm going to bring to work. (Today, for example, I've forgotten to bring lunch, so it's eating out for me. Doh.)

                      Happy Wednesday STAC'ers.

                      I awoke to a belly ache and feeling yucky. I know I didin't drink as much water as I should yesterday and I am working on that right now. I tried the fried cauliflower last night and I am guessing that is what is causing the belly ache.

                      I will pop some advil when I eat breaky and hopefully my day will turn out better.

                          Day 7 for me and I'm feeling great!
                          The last two nights I slept through the night - no wake ups or anything! It's so much more refreshing then waking up every few hours. I'd like to think it's because I'm eating and water-drinking on plan

                              Congrats doeskin and great job everyone! You all deserve some praise for staying focused and on track and for knowing what you could improve to optimize this WOE for yourselves!

                              Everything is going great here. I was happy to be able to get out of the house and into the gym today. There's still a lot of ice on the roads so it's a bit of an obstacle and pretty time consuming getting to where I have to be, but well worth the extra time! I also changed up my exercise routine a bit. I moved from 55 minutes on the treadmill to 35 on the elliptical. WHEW! What a kickstart! But I needed it to up my difficulty level.
