  • Starting Over

Well, here I am. Another year. Another start. I have no idea why I can't stay on this diet. It seems that I can't usually get past the first few days. The agonizing headaches get me every time and, even though I believe in the diet, I fall right off the wagon, wait several months and do it again. This time, my husband is doing it with me, so I hope that's enough to make it much easier. In any case, thanks for putting up with me!

Hang in there, take extra strength Tylenol or Advil for the headaches. If you can make it to day 5, you shoud be fine!!!!

        Re: Starting Over

Hi Renee, I know how you feel. I am also back again. Tomorrow is the 5 year anniversary of my first Atkins journey. I got pregnant that year after losing 60 lbs and had a very hard time getting back on track after the baby. Last Feb 07 I did it again but lost more slowly. I lost 26 lbs. I fell off in Nov. 07 when I LET the holidays rob me of my success. I only blame ME. But, enough is enough. I am diving full force back into the WOE again TODAY. I can use all of the support that is here. Please use me too as a buddy or someone to rant or vent to. I need the accountability of this website and will use it DAILY. God bless you Renee. You CAN do this. Start saying YOU WONT give up for 7 days! Then re-evaluate how you feel and I bet you'll say I can do this!

Once you start losing the lbs that will be a motivator to keep going and this message board is great motivation as well! Keep a food journal and take some bathing suit before and after pics. That is what kept me on this diet!
