  • STAC Roll Call, Monday 1-12-9

    Wow! I logged on this morning to check into our STAC roll call and found it hadn't been started! Yikes! I guess that means that I have to make that first posting!!

    So... nothing motivational here, I'm afraid... except to say that this IS the best way of life/eating and I'm so glad that I'm back on plan!! I hope each of you are, too!!

    Life kept me busy this weekend so I didn't check in, but things went really well and I'm down 2 more pounds... yippie!

    Keep up the good work everyone... and have a fantastic cheat-free day!!

    Congratulations, Vickie! Great job! I also lost weight - 3 pounds. But I have a cold and can't taste much, so didn't eat a whole lot. That's okay, I'll take what I can get!!

        Good morning all! We were up in the mountains for the weekend, and I'm happy to say that I stayed on plan most of the time. I might've nibbled on a bit too much cheese, and not enough water, but all-in-all, I conquered the challenge. I stayed the same weight wise, so I'm happy with that. We did alot of walking for exercise, and it felt good out in the fresh country air. Tonight I will do a longer workout to make up for lost time.

          Happy Monday STAC'ers,

          I am getting my hair permed today. Am I crazy or what? I haven't had a perm in about 15 years (since my daughter was a baby). I am thinking that having my hair permened will be easy to get in and out of the gym with out having to stryle my hair- just put it a pony tail less work etc.

          I am on my 2nd week of induction and feeling pretty good now.

          Vickie- thanks for staring roll call. I slept in today I did get up but hubby said I should go back to bed so I did..... That never happens.

          Vickie & Cheri- congrats on the loss. I stayed the same again but that ok. I also had a littl to much cheese yesterday and salt so I can't complain.

              Hello all. I was also out of touch over the weekend, and stayed pretty much on plan. I'm down after the weekend, and that's a good thing. My husband booked us a cruise for Spring Break, so now I have a SUPER motivation to stay focused and on track. I have some great clothes for the cruise in my closet, just need to get this weight off. I really believe that closet shopping is just as much fun as going to the mall (and a whole lot cheaper).

              Congrats to all who are losing, keep up the good work. We know that this is a great, healthy way of eating, and together we can do this!

                Hello all! I'm doing ok today. I'm still on plan and in ketosis but I find myself really craving some things I've made in the past couple of days. I made dressing yesterday and biscuits today and unfortunately I've had a couple of bites of each! Bad bad me! I've not cheated in awhile and I'm unhappy with myself for this! Tomorrow I will be back to making sure I am proud of every single bite! I hope all are well!

                    Hi guys! I am here! its midnight here and still have to pack up for my trip tomorrow. I went out and got a bunch of stuff that I can take with me in case there is nothing on the menus I can have. Overall still on track and exercising is good and weight loss starting to show but still will stick to my goal of not stepping on that scale until I come back from my trip.

                      Hi everyone! Week One of my re-induction is over and I am down 7lbs and lost a total of 5 inches from my bod! I have to say, the first time I did Adkins I did not use the tape measure, this time it is my bff! Really, this is soooo important, especially on the first few weeks of induction (I extend mine until I am in the 130s) because it proves those who say "its just water weight" dead WRONG!!! Happy inducting!

                      I do not have my ticker up, but here is my stats in case you are wondering

                      SW 192- BMI 33
                      CW 185- BMI 31.8 and 5 inches gone
                      Goal is 125, 60 more lbs to go!
                      I am 5 4, female and amazingly sexy even in this enlarged body!
