    Good morning, all!

    I'm not very good at inspirational stuff, but I though Amy had a really good point yesterday in Roll Call - good days always follow bad ones! I like that attitude! What a great thing to share. I think that way, too, and I know that good days will always follow so we need to keep our heads high and keep on trucking!

    Still got a cold, but feeling better every day. Worried about how cold it keeps getting, but bundling up the family as best as I can. It doesn't usually get this cold in VA!

    Keep up the good work, everyone and drink water!!

      Good morning Cheri and Jen! You guys are up early, aren't you!? I hope you both feel better soon. But good for you for sticking to it while sick- I know it can be hard when sick because you feel like you deserve jello or saltine crackers! At least for me anyway! But you will get better soon, I'm sure, and when you do you will be so proud of yourself for sticking to it during this!

      I'm having a good day so far and plan to keep having a good day! I hope all are well and happy today!

          Today is day 3 of induction for me, and I'm down 2 lbs so far. I'm going to try to stay away from the scales at least until the end of the week, I think it would be better for me. They're opening an Anytime Fitness not too far from where I live. My friend joined yesterday, so today I will, too. I can work out for free at the army depot my husband works at, but it is too far, and I really need someone to go with me! Wish me luck, hopefully I won't chicken out!

            Just checkin in to say goodmorning all! Had a good night's rest, and ready to take on the day! Missed working out yesterday, as a friend dropped over and ended up staying till 11 pm. She lost her job just before Christmas, was in bad shape, and I helped her put together a resume. She hadn't needed one for the last 12 years. I missed my workout, but I helped a friend! Tonight I am planning to do a double workout! Have a great day everyone!

              Hey all, just reporting in. I had a pleasant surprise this morning, a mini whoosh! I was two pounds lighter today after staying the same for 3 days in a row. I guess the power aerobics yesterday helped. My butt is sore though, to many squats and lunges.

                I dropped back to induction after the holidays to shed my gain from not sticking to plan on Monday, Jan 5. I was at 180.5 and am now back down to 175.5 as of Sunday. Today is day 11 of induction (STAC) and I am feeling good again. Craving Chocolate is an everyday challenge for me as is the urge to see what my weight is twice a day. I have banished the scale from my house except on Sundays. I am also taking measurements every Sunday. I have the resolve to lose my last 25 pounds!

                I have kept up my exercise routine...3 days a week 30-45 minutes in the gym and sometimes an extra 45 minutes on the weekend. One side affect seems to be that exercising stalls my weight loss. I am assuming it is because I am gaining muscle.

                So I don't get discouraged I have a sheet in my bathroom by the mirror that has 6 weeks outlined. I enter my weight and measurements every Sunday and go from there. I think it will help me stay commited.

                      Happy Thursday STAC'ers.

                      Another difficult day for me there is no school again and hubby is staying home again. I have a ton of work work to do and I am stressing because working from home is difficult when people keep distracting you

                      It was -30'F last week- today is 43'F with wind. My car slid out of the driveway into the culdesack some time last night. Imagine a 4 inches of packed snow- turned ice and then pouring rain. Lovely. I need to drive to my storage unit and pack my van for my big sales meeting tomorrow and I am worried about getting down the hill.

                      I am making a nice breakfast of chicken sausage and sourkrought and drinking my water trying to stay sane.

                        Found hidden starches in my Mayo today, and I am hoping that this is the reason things having been going so slowly for me this time round..
                        So binned the baddie, and doing an extra week of induction.. Just gotta find me a good mayo..
                        Plus booked in to my docs for some blood tests to double check thyroid and cholesterol ect. xx

                          Happy Thursday everyone! Day 13 for me! I did a mid-week peek this morning on the scale and have lost another lb! Since I tend to lose the majority of my weight at the end of the week, I am looking forward to what the next two days will bring! Sunday morning is my weekly weigh in and measurement check! I can honestly feel the inches coming off, especially in my hips (which due to a tummy tuck are REALLY pronounced) YEAH!!! I can't wait for those hips to dissappear, and my thighs, and my back boobs, and my flappy teacher arms... and... and... and Using the measurements is a real motivator for me, last time I strickly used the scale. I am so confident in my measurements that I am going to throw out my old scale which I can adjust to help me feel better on the days I am not losing for a digital one so that there is no misinterpreting my progress!

                            I had an amazing day today.

                            I had many blessings in one day. I feel great. Rejuvenated.

                            I love this WOL.

                            Not only does eating like this clear your head, it gives you a better attitude to face the rest of the world with. That kind of positive energy spreads, and even the people having a crappy day can't get to you...

                            It just makes me feel that much better about chosing to give this yet another try and sticking to it this time! Yay Atkins!
