    Good morning everyone!

    Last night I made a pizza!

    And, I thought to myself... why did I wait so long to come back to Atkins?

    I truly love this WOE!!!

    I hope everyone has a great Sunday! And, prepares stuff for the week ahead

    I have a Hamburger Broccoli Alfredo Casserole in my fridge for the week's bfast (or meals I don't feel like cooking, but it's usually bfast lol).

    Good morning everyone!
    Day 4. Well, yesterday was my first test as we celebrated my son's 3rd birthday with cake, ice cream and one of my moms DELICIOUS meals. All not Atkins friendly. I tell you what, the biggest temptation was the strawberries!!! They bought a whole tray of them. I wanted them so badly, but resisted. Both my husband and I ate before we went, and both stuck to the plan. No cheating at all. But my mom had her brocolli cheese soup, that she created as low fat, and it got me thinking. I can change a few ingredients and make it atkins friendly! I'll be trying that today. Well, it'll be a long day for me. I'm having a hard time resisting other food, as I'm an emotional wreck. I'll be back at the hospital waiting to visit my Grandfather in Critical care, and that's when I'm at my weakest. Well, good luck to everyone, and stay warm! It's up to 30 today for me, and that feels like a blessed heat wave.

      Let it snow Let it snow~~the temp is 11* & tolerable! We may go out for a walk in the snowstorm.

      Cooking a turkey today & a few other dishes for the week. Other plans include some housework & paying bills. What fun!!

        good morning! i'm just hanging out and cleaning at the moment. my husband and i are having 2 other couples over for dinner tonight so i will start the meal prep soon! i'm very excited.i found some marinade that has 1 carb in it...hopefully this won't be too much of a problem..and i am going to make a bunch of yummy veggies on the side and also some mashed pototoes for the other people to munch on. and i feel great about it too-not tempted at all!

        this weekend is flying by. i picked up some babysitting jobs friday and saturday night and while it is great for my wallet, it makes me feel like i don't get much of a break!!!

        enjoy your day everyone! and hooray for the high being 22 today!

          Happy Sunday STAC'ers.

          I ended up having a good day yesterday. Hubby helped with the fence. We all went to the gym. I got plenty of physical activity yesterday- I slept great last nigt.

          This morning I am having (this might sound gross to some) meatballs and sourkrought. My hubby thinks it is disgusting. I have a lot of left over meatballs and leftover sourkrought and they need eating....

            Oz- we cooled down again. I think we are just about 15 right now. I was just thinking of make a turkey. I need to take one out of the freezer tonight and let it thaw. That means I will have to get some pumpkin....

            plsmachic you are planning well. Good for you. I want to make the pizza as well. I have to plan it for this week.

            OK- I am off for my club training. We are having ribeye steaks tonight and vegis. Hubby will be cooking.

              Warm day here in Michigan. 18 degrees.
              Got a good amount of exercise in shoveling the 6+ inches of snow.
              Wind chill is above zero for the first time in a while.

              Eating is going fine.

                  Like plsmachic is sooo good at stating I LOVE this WOE/L!!!!
                  BUT... I'm suffering the usual (for me, anyway) constipation These last three days I've been drinking a yucky fibre supplement (no sugar) and drinking lots and lots of water... hopefully things will start moving again soon! I know... TMI sorry!!

                  Having chicken for dinner tonight, but not sure yet what I want to do with it. I LOVE baking it with a parm & mayo mixture on top and may do that tonight, served with broccoli and a little salad. MMMMM!

                  Cassi - hope your broccoli & cheese soup works out for you! And keep strong - soon you'll be in one-derland!!
                  Julie - mmmm turkey! I have some frozen left over from Xmas and now I'm thinking about how yummy it would be to bring it out for a meal later in the week!
                  Mrs. S - sounds like you're made some terrific plans for your dinner party! Excellent!!

                    Mrs_S I live in Burton (East of Flint). I went to GMI (Kettering now) and Oakland University.

                    I love Chicago. Ran the WAY TOO HOT marathon there a couple of years ago.

                            Hello everyone! I've mostly been lurking here at ADBB for the past few years, but figured it was time to join in. This is my 8th or 10th time with this WOE. (Could even be 15th, but I've lost track!) A couple of the times I lost 50-60 lbs, but never managed to make my goal, and then slowly regained all the weight. I'm at the end of my 1st week of induction and my clothes are already feeling less tight. I've been downloading alot of low carb recipes in hopes that more variety will help me to stay with it this time. Do any of you STAC'ers have some tips you'd like to share on what you did or are doing differently this time and having success with?

                              Ugh! I'm dyin' here! It's sunny, in the low 80's, wind gusts up to 25 mph.

                              I have been on the Atkins lifestyle change (this time around) for 2 weeks and have not seen ANY change - either on the scale or in my clothes. I AM FRUSTRATED!!!
