    Good morning STACers!

    Hope everyone has a great low carb day! This works, stick with it. I've been back for 3 weeks, have lost 8.5 pounds, and have not had one hungry moment. We can do it!!!

    Day 5. Yesterday I spent all day at the hospital and ended up not doing so well. Forgot to eat all day. at 2 I grabbed a dredded atkins bar. I know they aren't allowed, but when I lack options I figure better that than a candy bar or chips in the machines at the hospital. I keep one of the dredded things in my glove compartment just for those occasions. (I tend to forget food in my car, and I HATE discovering it months later!) Anyway, then went out with my SIL for dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. Ate WAY too much. All atkins friendly, just know I over did the veggies as I had a salad, broc, and mashed cali all in that meal. Still planning to stick with it today, but feel so blah. The emotinal rolercoaster I'm on right now keeps making me think I don't care how much I weigh. But I KNOW I do care. I hate being an emotional eater. Oh wel. Today is a new day. Hopefully things will start looking up! Hope everyone is seeing the benefits of the WOL and feeling good while doing so.

        I'm in a mini-stall. I have hopefully diagnosed it as not getting enough calories and being in starvation mode. I haven't been doing my Fitday logs because I'm so "smart". Turns out I'm not as smart as I thought I was and was under 1000 calories most of the last week. Lean meats and decreased appetite have stalled me. Time to hit the sausage and butter to lose weight . I love this WOE.

          Cragsdale - don't beat yourself up! That Atkins bar was a great back up when you were in need and had no options. The last time I did Atkins I wen toff when my friend had her baby and I was in the hospital with her for two days!

            Top of the morning to everyone. Another Monday morning. I feel a bit sluggish today, ate too much at a brunch yesterday, and I stillfeel it today. I'm going to have to do a double work out this evening to make up for it. Have a great one!

              Happy Monday STAC'ers

              Today I have to drink more water. I screwed up yesterday and left my water at home so I had a day with diet soda. Then some water in the evening but not enough I am afraid. I weighed the same this AM. I am a scale hopper so I will weighagain soon.

              I feel pretty good- mentally awake. Well rested. My ketostick was dark purple yesterday so I know that I am on track and I have been getting plenty of vegis in for the last 3-4 days. I finally feel like I have a handle on my vegi eating.

              I agree with Plsmachic, Cragsdale. I keep emergency food around for the same purpose. I usually have jerky (turkey jerky), pepperoni, nuts (not for induction), protein bars and Atkins shakes in my car for when I find myself in crunch. One of the big problems with me is lack of appetite and every once in awhile I get really busy and forget to eat and then all of the sudden BAM I am starving and I think my only option is fast food or an expensive salad.

              I will be going to the gym again and walking on the treadmill and building up my time on the elipitical as well as working on my upper body. I am easing back into weight training. Starting with the upperbody since I am nursing a bad knee.m

                Morning all. Fell off a bit Saturday evening, then didn't eat till dinner last night. Lack of planning ahead, totally my fault. Back on the straight and narrow today! Hope everyone has a great low carb day.

                  Up early, feel strangely better for some reason.. its only Day 3 of induction, but it makes me feel better just being back on the plan. Eggs and sausage for breakfast, 2 small porkchops for lunch with a string cheese. for Dinner it will be a spinach salad and grilled chicken thighs.. mmmmm...

                  Water is still the toughest thing to get dialed into drinking..

                    hi everyone!

                    I had a bit of a slip this weekend too. vanilla cake. I had a piece of it! it seems like there's just no way to duplicate it in a low-carb way (without resorting to gluten, I suppose)! d'oh! back on the wagon now. surprisingly, no raging cravings after eating it, nothing too bad. I had a huge breakfast the morning after, tons of protein and fat, good stuff...but a little bit of potato. but since then, no cravings. no more potato or cake like that again for a good long time.

                    thank goodness the few lbs I'd gone up a few weeks ago are gone, so maybe I'm back on the way down.

                      Checking in! Everything is going wonderful here. I took my vits & mins, worked out for an hour and a half total and stayed on track with my food and water. So today was great! I also took my measurements and I am down a total of 34 inches! I've only lost 11lbs total, but thank goodness for the measuring tape to get me even more motivated! I did get a compliment today that I'm looking smaller, so that's another great motivator!

                        Well... I'm here with bells on!
                        Things continue to go well with me. My only concern is that I'm not that hungry and have to make efforts to finish a meal. I don't want my calories to go too low. My water intake is great, though!

                          Long day for me but all is well. Just took my favorite meal out of the oven~~chicken, bacon, cabbage, cheese etc...

                          Chynna~~fantastic results!! I also lost a ton of inches & not a lot of weight. The tape measure is our friend!! Congrats!

                            Howdy!! Had a real good day today. I got on the scale and was down two more pounds. I'm just trying to figure out how to get more fat in during the day. Help!!!
