    Good morning all!
    Scales didn't budge again this morning, but I feel great. Time to get the kids up and ready for school. I'm drop-off Dad this morning because my wife has an early class. I love seeing my kids before work, they are so cute when I wake them up. My daughter won't get out of bed unless I snuggle with her for a few minutes. I hope this lasts a few more years. Have a great day all.

    Hey TJ, thanks for kicking off the day with such a warm story about your daughter!
    Scales move when scales move, we go about the day doing our best to help that, but truthfully we all need to build a lifestyle and sustains our efforts. It's never gonna be "either or"....have a great day STACers

      MORNING ALL! Yes, I am very happy. My scale moved quite a bit. I am starting my third day of induction and am already down 5.4 lbs. I did not think the scales would move so quickly this time, but I guess my advanced weight is helping them along...

      I have tons of homework, housework and other work to do today. However, I think I am going to start with a trip to the YMCA. I'll go walk for a little while on the treadmill and splurge on some time in the jacuzzi. Relax my mind and my bones a bit.

        Good morning!

        I'm fixing to get the kids off to school, and hope the roads don't freeze up anymore. I'm down another pound since yesterday, but I seriously think I need to hide the scales. I can't seem to stay away from them. Hope everyone has a great day!

          My scale was in wacko mode today... Everytime I got on, it said something way different. It ranged from 172.8 to 174.0... But, it mostly floated around 173.4 - but I'm writing 173.8 in my journal just to be on the safe side...

          Yesterday I had the best chicken I've ever made.

            Good morning! We're home from school today thanks to sleet and snow. This is the first of the year for us. Somehow, the storms have been missing us so far this year.

            FINALLY got to Curves yesterday to join and did my first workout. Felt really good!

            plsmachic - that chicken sounds awesome! Putting it on the menu to try...

              Woke up late this morning, so don't have much time to chat. Have already started to drink my water this morning, so should make my goal, for water intake. Will also do an extra long workout today, to make up for the last few days of nursing a sore knee. Have a good one everyone!

                Happy Tuesday STAC'ers

                I was in a funky mood yesterday and I am hoping today will be better. I have a lot of work to do today. I haven't weighed yet today but I probably will when I get in the shower shortly.

                Yesterday I made the cauliflower pizza. I bought the quesso to try the other pizza. I will try to make that tonight.

                I finally slept a little more last night. I went to bed later and woke up earlier, but feel like I actually slept. I did not get up a million times to use the bathroom- maybe that helped.

                  Julie, since you've already had the cauliflower pizza, please let me know the differences between the queso crust and cauliflower. Both in ease of preparation and taste/texture. I am going to make the deep dish cream cheese one this weekend. I am going to try and take the best of each and make a frankenpizza that rocks the world.

                    T.J., enjoy those snuggles now. When they get older, they will still love you but won't snuggle. I do miss those days! If I try to sneak a hug from my 21 year old, 6'2" son, he holds out his hand and says "Mother, Refrain!"

                    Plsmachic, that chicken does sound good -- thanks for sharing. Doing quick lunch check-in. Down a pound from yesterday and met my weekly goal.

                    The crummy weather is heading our way tonight so I think I'll take a Snow Day tomorrow. Stay home, read the paper, relax. Sounds good to me!

                      Good afternoon everyone. Veered off course a little last night, no worries, back on the straight and narrow today, guzzling water also. My dog obedience class has been cancelled tonight, we are supposed to be getting about a 1/2 inch of ice this evening. Well, we'll just make a big fire and hang out at home instead. Hope everyone stays on plan, and safe if you are in the path of this big winter storm.

                        Morning everyone,

                        Well... it's taken a few days but I think I'm past those miserable hormone headaches/migraines... well... until they return next month! Still feeling a little drained, but a lot less crummy then before!

                        I'm still cheat-free... 26 days and counting... and I'm really proud of that!

                        Weight loss continues to be slow, though... 1 pound this week (not complaining... too much!)
                        Julie (AlaskaGirl) reminded me of the 3 week plateau Atkiners often get... this happened to me before and it totally makes sense that my body needs to take stock of things and decide whether it likes what's going on. Thankfully my body always agrees with the plan and lets go of it's plateau... eventually!

                        But I'm now in my 4th week and I'm finding myself getting frustrated at the 3 week thing . Fortunately for me I have another handy explanation... my headaches are actually my own version of TOM (had a hysterectomy last year - but still have those wonderful hormones playing havoc in my body!)... so I'm blaming my current slow-down on TOM, too! Haha!!

                        Normally I'm not an excuses kinda Chickie... but when your head is pounding and you're thinking about sugar cookies (that was my Saturday especially!) you've gotta grab on to something that forces you to the fridge and that left over pork chop!!

                        No worries... all is good here

                        And I hope it's all good with everyone out there in Forum-land!
                        Brave the cold weather... brave the occassional cravings... and stay cheat free!!

                            hope everyone had a great day. i'm doing well..had an unfortunate encounter with some crunchy peanut butter and celery. soooo now i'm gonna chug a bunch of water, workout, and not repeat my mistake again. tuesdays always give me motivation to work out..biggest loser!!
