  • Im back...again!

Hello everyone!! Lets see, this is like my 100th time at this and i need to stick to my guns! i had huge success a few years ago dropping almost 50lbs and i gave up and the weight slipped back on over the years.
i started back up again just before christmas at 218lbs and made it through the holidays...as of today im at 198lbs. ive had a few little slips so far but ive paid dearly for them. i need to get my head back in the game and stick to this because honestly, ive never felt better mentaly or physically. so ive decided to come back here and let all you wonderful people keep inspiring me, and you are all huge inspirations!! everyone looks so good!! i know my weakness, i know my strengths, i know what drives me so its time to do this and be a healthier, happier, and a **** of a lot sexier person!!!

Wow! The fish are great! That is so pretty. I usually don't like tats even, so its weird for me to say. But its one of the nicest tattoos I've ever seen! I'm glad you made it threw the holidays still loosing. They kicked my butt. I'm in rollcall rehab. Somehow I always do better when I answer a rollcall. Stick around and keep up the good work!

My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

          1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
          2nd mini goal: 140!
          3rd mini goal:135!
          4th mini goal: 130!

I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

                Re: Im back...again!

Bella, I think we're in the same boat. Atkins made me a believer many years ago. About 7 to be exact. I lost roughly 30 lbs. Life was good and I was at a weight of about 165-170. Well, as time went on, my wife and I had 3 adorable kids, my weight ever so slowly crept back. I've tried Atkins a couple of times in between, but never held true to it. I hit 213 about a month ago and said, "this is it". As in the past, it took me a while to really get going on the Induction. At least 3 weeks before I really saw any changes. THIS IS THE HARDEST PART, FOR SURE!!! In the past week or so the weight is melting off. I am a fairly active person, but I have yet to get back into my runinng routine or anything. I play sports, but the biggest change, and the one I've stuck to is the eating. The carbs are gone. Sure I miss some of the things, but I definitely make up for them with the Russell Stover low carb chocolates and Diet Rite. I still have this stuff, but it doesn't affect your blood sugar level, so it's OK. Count carbs!
Anyway, I just wanted to say hang in there, I'm right there with you. I'm really trying to drop pounds before summer truly kicks in. Can't wait!!!
Keep me posted on how things go for you...
