  • TJ's Pizza

TJ I made your pizza tonight.

I had some problems with the cheese crumbling. I was using my mandolin slicer and it was a mess. I sprayed down my stone and pressed the crumbled cheese along with the broken slices around the stone as far as I could.

I had a problem with the crust sticking around the edges. I finally got it off and put it on a cookie sheet upside down with parchment paper and broiled it till brown. I then topped it with chunky spagetti sauce, pepperoni, ground beef mushrooms and a little more cheese. Popped it back in the oven for a minute and wha LA.

It was pretty good. I ate half and stopped. I will have it for breakfast

    Thanks!

    Julie

Julie, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I guess you won't be doing the chimichanga recipe I posted. I've done it twice now and freezing the cheese for 15-30 minutes and cutting it with a sharp knife has worked for me. Also, the crumbles are useful in filling in gaps. The olive oil stopped it from sticking.

TJ- It worked just fine dont be sorry.

I need to get the cheese sliced at the deli and I will use parchment from now on so I can peel it off eaiser. I used PAM on my stone but maybe I should have used olive oil. The only place it stuck was the edges- no big deal.

Heck yes it worked. I just finished it for breakfast I think I like it even better cold.
