  • Aahhggg!!!!

    Ok, so Jan, 5th I started induction. I did GREAT!!! I was actually working everyday at my daughter's school, so I was busy through the day time. I lost 17 pounds. I was so excited. I ended up coming off the diet and stuck with low carbs and exercise...didn't gain anything back.
    So, on the 5th of this month I decided to do it again. I was excited about it!!! This time I didn't have anything to occupy my time through the day like I did before. I am a work from home mom and work in a home party direct sales (Passion Parties). So, my work nights are mainly Fri-Sat. I have the WHOLE rest of the week to stay home. Of course that is why I got into direct selling in the first place so I could stay at home, BUt for Atkins, it's KILLING me!!! I've started this diet and CHEATED every day since the 5th!!! I dont' get it. I did so well the first time. Anyone else having a hard time getting started the second time around? It seemed SOOOO easy the first time.

    I was spinning my wheels cheating for 6 months. I stayed right at this weight. I just did induction again to loose the weight that suddenly appeared after all my cheating. I stay at home too, so I know what you mean. I try not to buy tempting foods. My sister lives with me and she is not so kind. I wasn't perfect but I am getting better. Its taken being pretty darn good for 3 weeks to get back to feeling like I'm on track. Warning however, the first time I did induction I lost 14 lbs. This last time I lost only 8 lbs. But I've been stalled right here forever so maybe its just me. The sooner you can get on it and stay on it, the sooner the weight will come off though. If you can make it for the first 4 days, it gets much easier to stay on.



    My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

    1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
    2nd mini goal: 140!
    3rd mini goal:135!
    4th mini goal: 130!

    I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

      I find planning my day along with what I can eat really helps. Have those legal snacks ready! It may be better for you to eat six small meals throughout the day instead of traditional three. Don't forget the water! Drink a glass when you think you are hungry. Wait a few minutes, you may have only been thirsty. I always drink a glass of water before I eat too. It helps one feel fulll faster as well as increase the daily H2O intake.
