    Good Morning!!! It's finally FRIDAY and relief washes over me!! I'm excited to have a couple of days outside the normal grind and time to pay attention to me!! Hoping all of you have a wonderful day and stay motivated to reach your goals!!!

    GOOD MORNING!!! TGIF!!! It is beautiful here this morning...cold but not blowing snow anymore...tomorrow I am going sliding with the kids, BF, etc...It is going to be REALLY cool...starting to plan what I am going to bring to eat cause we'll be there most of the day!!! DRINK YOUR WATER EVERYONE...which is MY challenge today...

      Good morning STACers! It's bitter cold here today so I'm staying inside and getting some cleaning done, the intense kind that burns some calories!

      I'm still on induction and doing fine. Have a great day everyone and let's all stay focused!

        Good Morning!
        I finally shook off all the old notions of weight loss (low fat, low carb) and increased the fat in my diet. I was stalled out a little bit, and the natural tendency is to lower carb and fat, but I increased the fat by frying my eggs in butter and adding an extra tbsp of olive oil to my chicken and veggies last night....I ate a little more food, and in the morning...

        I broke my stall and lost almost 2 pounds. No doubt it'll fluctuate a little bit, but I'm completely sold now. Thanks for all the support so far (27 pounds gone this month!), and have a great day everyone!!!

            Good morning All! TGIF! Busy weekend coming up. Having friends over for dinner tomorrow night, and out on Sunday night. Will have to bring the suitcases up this weekend and start packing for our vacation, leaving on Thursday. Can hardly wait to get away from winter. Have a great weekend everyone.

              Hi Everyone,

              Awake at 4:30 again for me... but no ketosis and it's day 12 of induction with no inch or poundage loss. I am committed to get this right this time and not to give up. My plan is to stay on induction for a month now, as I obviously couldn't think about moving to OWL without any progress and no inch loss. This surgery is going to have to be put off and I am starting to become more discouraged. I hope everyone has a great day! Weekends are actually easier for me as I can have 5 smaller snacks easily instead of trying to eat 3 meals...I am posting my fit day link again in hopes that maybe someone could take a glance and let me know what I am doing wrong?                 Good morning! Day 8 of induction. In ketosis but no weight loss. Feeling good especially after food shopping last night for delicious low carb foods. Yum!
                Cara, I looked at your food journal. I'm sure you're eating more than the 280 calories listed in your journal, but how much more? Sounds to me like you're not eating enough?

                  Good morning all!!
                  i was visited by the WHOOSH Fairy last night! Finally broke the stall at 196 and am down to 193 this morning! Much trepidation for the coming week - my fiance and i are going to Vermont with two other married/engaged couples. We have bought over $300 in liquor/beer for the week... talk about peer pressure! I know there's no LEGAL drinking during induction, but i made sure to get less-illegal drinks for the week (ie vodka with splenda-made-lemonade). I use the body ball frequently at the gym with my trainer - so in light of the upcoming week, i purchased a body ball and two 10 pound weights so i can get in at least an hour a day of weight training in Vermont. I'm also bringing my scale - to keep on target.
                  I have bought all the meats and cheeses and eggs one can dream of, and of course veggies too
                  Keep me in mind while i'm gone - need your prayers and support for the week.
                  I'll be thinking of all of you - as i won't be able to check in (no service at the mountain cabin).
                  I'm surprised by how much i'll miss this daily support.

                    Happy Friday STAC'ers

                    TGIF! I am so glad it is Friday. I need a break. I feel like I have a zillion things to do & never enough time to do them. This is my busiest time of year for my work. It will be until the end of April or begining of May. I need to focus and be diligent with this WOL.

                    Last night I didn't get home from my sales meeting until 7:30 pm. I brought home salads for dinner. I was not even tempted to take one bite of the various desserts that I was showing, nor did I feel like tasting any of the jambalaya or au gratin potatoes that I also showed.

                    Hubby should be coming home tomorrow night. Finally! Today I need to try to make it to the market and load up on food & supplies. He says he's gotten a little fat (not having access to a gym). Maybe he will join me for a while. He usually eats what I make and then adds some form of bread or potato etc.


                    Today's goals:
                    • Drink 3 liters of water. Yesterday I still only managed less than 2.
                    • Unpack from my sales meeting.
                    • Pick up down stairs.
                    • Pay bills.
                    • Go to the market.
                    • Clean out the fridge.
                    • Wii Sports for 45 minutes.

                              Howdy Everyone!

                              Checking in a little late - well, it's mid-day here on the West Coast.

                              Hey! I'm feeling great!!
                              Yesterday was such a fantastic day - out of the blue one of the Interior Designer women I've met via my blog invited me to a large (about 250/300 invited designers), high-end bathroom "stuff" company's party held last evening... and I went! What a terrific networking opportunity!! And it was so much fun meeting several other blogging decorators/designers. And they were so happy to meet me too (that felt good, considering I'm trying to break into the business!)!!! Ya... really cool!

                              What was also cool was that the caterer at this event had such wonderful, on plan stuff!!! The only thing off plan that I enjoyed = a glass of white wine. I had a little spinich salad, a few roasted veggies, cheese and this lovely, tender roast beef. Scrumptious!

                              And to wake up this morning a pound lighter!! Yippie!!
                              In fact, the scale read 210.8 - I was so happy to see the zero in that number, but the .8 meant that I had to round up. I don't care because I saw 210!!!! That means it's coming soon!!!!!

                              Oh Ya... and I'm at 50 full Cheat-Free days today!!!!!

                              Okay, I'm using a LOT of exclamation marks here, but I'm in a good mood!
                              And to think it's Friday, too. Who can complain?!

                              Okay - back to work for me.
