    Good morning all!

    As February comes to a close, do yourselves a favor and look back at your monthly weight loss totals. I was frustrated most of the month, thinking that the scale wasn't moving in the right direction more often than not. I lost 11 pounds for the month, and I self sabotaged myself quite a bit this month. It may seem slow on the daily reporting, but I bet everyone (except Cara) had a decent loss. As a group we are all doing extremely well and we have each other to thank for it. I broke into wonderland this morning, and you guys are the biggest factor for me. Thanks a bunch. I still have more weight to lose before goal, and I will be readjusting my goal weight. At the time, I thought 51 pounds was insurmountable. Now that it is within reach, I realize I will probably have to go a bit further. I have gone from plump to pear shaped with no butt. I have the middle aged man build that I didn't think I would ever have. Yikes, I look like my dad. Definately need to step up the exercise.

    Way to go T.J., I see you broke the 200 pound mark! I've lost 17.5 pounds since Christmas, and I feel that I am losing weight at a healthy pace. I hope to meet my goal of 120 by August, but if not, it's no big deal. I'm just looking to lose five pounds at a time, and if I do that 8 or 9 more times I'll be there!!

      I will be weighing on March 9. The last time I was on the scales was Feb 20 and I weighed 187 at 5'10".

      I'm going to NC for Spring Break to see some friends I haven't seen since summer 2004 at which time I weighed a whopping 215. The last time they saw me before that,in 1995, I was about 170. that visit was my original motivation to go on Atkins.

      I'm motivated!!!

      Oh, not to mention, I quit smoking on April 30, 2008 and weighed around 178ish. I want to beat this.

        And TJ, 11 pounds for the month is pretty remarkable. I need to look at your threads and see how you did it. I'm on the wagon so I can't go the beer route.

            Hello All,

            Checking in and doing well, March is a day away and time to
            make my March personal goals. More water and increase
            treadmill to 2 - 3 miles. I also lift weights 3 times a week.

            I have a question, when someone says they are in wonderland
            or Onederland, what does that mean ? That they are under
            the 200 pound mark ?

                  John, Onderland/Wonderland is sub 200. I just can't type Onderland because I always think of the movie "That Thing You Do!" (one of my wife's faves) and everyone calling them the O-Need-Ers. Kinda silly, but so am I. Glad to see you found us!

                    Congrats on your loss TJ!

                    I'm still maintaining at 7.5 lbs above goal and have been since before Xmas but I am going to start exercising more and hopefully I will take those lbs off in March.

                      Happy Saturdays STAC'ers

                      Great idea TJ. I will have to go back to my old post and try to figure that one out.

                      I had a very busy day and a late night yesterday so I slept in. When I got out of bed it was 8 am. Then I had to make steak omlettes. When I tried to log in after that for some reason the website was loading super slow so I decided to come back at a later time (now).

                      It is snowing here today. I have some house work to do then I have to take my daughter jean shopping. I have managed 1 liter of water already

                      I do have to tell you all a little story. I had made the cheese cake muffins Thursday night. The recipe makes exactly 1 dozen. They really are better after they have been chilled. So Thursday night I did eat 1 and I gave hubby 1 (this means there were 10 left). Well I got up Friday morning and the cheese cake muffins were gone. Hubby had eaten them all between Thursday night after I went to bed and Friday morning some time while I was in the shower.... I come out of the shower and ther he is reading the paper with an empty cheese cake muffin container and a very guilty loook on his face (I had already made him breakfast earlier 2 eggs over easy and a sausage with toast).... As if that wasn't enough I said "you ate all of MY cheese cake muffins!" and he said "I thought you made them for ME!".... I think hubby needs to star eating this wol again- he has lost all of his self control.

                      I made them again last night. He promised not to eat them all but rather a couple a day. I added fresh blueberries- they are very yummy.

                          Hi Everyone- Yes, TJ-I would have to be singled out! I am still frustrated and STILL HERE! I went a "pump it up" party for my 3 year old's classmate...Lots of sugar, and pizza! I was not a cheater although I did pull of some cheese from my husbands pizza. I actually wanted the WHOLE piece and found I couldn't do it. I will weigh in on Monday even though I don't want to be discouraged with no loss. It has been 3 weeks now of really no cheating so I am more into fine tuning and finding out the problem. I stopped fit day as it was inaccurate and driving me crazy-I have upped the veggies per the suggestion that was made and we will see if that makes a difference. My husband and I are hopefully going to Russia in April to meet a little boy who just turned 2 years old in an orphanage in Siberia. Atkins will be a challenge for a week overseas but I hope that in a month my appetite will be DEAD and I can really pick and choose to eat when there is Atkins friendly food available. Have a great weekend everyone! I am having dinner out tonight and am confident I will not cheat-I don't drink so liquor won't be a problem but I will have to pinch myself when it is time for dessert. My cravings seem to be under control for now. I can come home and have jello with whip cream! Take care. Cara

                            Well, I started this WOL on January 29th and didn't weigh in until a week later...so I'm going to list my February +2 days of January loss.

                            I started on January 29th at 319

                            Today I weighed in at 292, but that was before breakfast and I always add 2 pounds to my morning weight and call it my official weight, so today I was 294

                            So I lost a nice, round, 25 pounds this month.

                            Thanks for everyone help, support, and multiple kicks in the @$$ throughout the month. Here's to us!!!
