    Where is everyone!!! Happy monday and be strong! We are expecting another snowstorm but at least it is spring break so no need to go anywhere today! Just keep away from the nasty munchies!

      Good Morning - Hope everyone is having a great day.

      I have restarted induction today. Stepped on the scale this weekend and I am at 215 lbs. - I just want those darn 15 to go away once and for all. I would have to say that is my biggest goal. I will be so happy when I hit 199 - a celebration will be in order for sure!

      I have decided to measure everything to the T- this time around. No more pre-shredded cheese will be in my fridge. Convience only makes me FATTER. I do need to go to the grocery store and pick up some low carb items.

        Sis, what happened? Did you fall off the wagon? Our reunion is this summer, time to focus.

        I had a great workout this morning, 45 minutes of cardio cross-training. Still hanging out in Wonderland. I thought I would show a loss this morning, but it was not to be. I am having a wonderful lunch of curry chicken thighs and green beans. I threw the green beans in with the chicken so they would soak up the curry and spices. I also threw in some chili de arbol for heat. The beans are hot, the chicken didn't pick up as much flavor as I had hoped. I guess 8 hours in the crock pot wasn't enough. Maybe I'll marinate the next batch for a few days in the fridge before cooking.

        My super fiber chili seems to have reached a maximum fiber per serving of 18g/6 oz serving. I was shooting for 20, but at 18 it started tasting a little funny and be a bit cellulosy. If you need fiber though, it works.

          Happy Monday STAC'ers.

          TJ- can you post a link to the chili recipe? Thanks. I need to go to the market today and I need to find something good for the whole family. I have 2 beautiful rib eyes in the fridge but frankly I am steaked out..... I could add it to chili though

          I slept great last night and I think I broke the pain. I feel great. My husband told me not to go to the gym yet. He's worried I will set off my knee again. I am going to play Wii Sports today instead. If it warms up I may take my GSD to the park and walk the perimeter of the base ball field while using the chucker to throw the ball so he can burn some energy. It was -10 here this morning. To cold for him to hang outside very long.

              Julie, it's in the main dishes section of the recipe forum. That's the one for 12g/fiber per 6 oz serving. It's pretty good, and you can add your own spices to customize it. I always throw in some Dave's Insanity Sauce to kick it up a few notches.

                    Hi...this is day 1 of induction for me. My official start weight is 292 (grumble, grumble). I've started the day well...though I'm already hungry so I'm about to have a hardboiled egg. I've plugged my meal plan into fitday and am relatively ok on the percentages...not perfect, but I've never tracked to percentages before.

                    I've also never ACTUALLY measured 2 cups of salad greens...that was a small dissapointment.

                    Is there a way in Fitday to break down your consumption into meals? Right now, as an example, I've got like 3 eggs listed and 2 oz's of cheese....but the reality is I had one egg for breakfast, 2 planned for lunch/snacks and cheese split between lunch, dinner and snacks...any way to show that?

                    Tonight I will go home and do a workout and take some measurements. I'm glad fitday tracks the measurements too...that's pretty cool.

                    I had a horrible nights sleep...so here's hoping that the workout takes a lot out of me so I can rest well tonight!

                    Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                      TJ- I found your chili recipe post. It looks simple. Do your children and wife eat it?

                      I might add a jar of salsa to up the vegi content. I will try it tonight.

                        We woke up to no power this morning!!

                        Today is a SNOW day! woo-hoo

                        We went to Cracker Barrell for breakfast. I had two scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage, It was really good.

                          Julie, I would share it with them, but they aren't big fans of hot food and I make it super hot. I think they would enjoy a scaled down version of it though. I usually keep a bucket in the fridge and eat it at 10 and 2, for my third and fifth meals of the day. I hit the second bowl a little early today because our workout was pretty intense this morning and I was feeling a bit hungry.

                            Good afternoon, all. Didn't get the chance to check in over the weekend, I was pretty busy. Went to the movie Saturday night and resisited the evil popcorn (that's huge for me!). Yesterday I spent about 4 hours washing and clipping my standard poodle - lot of work, but she looks good today! Stayed on plan all weekend, scales are still slowly moving - that's all I want, consistent movement in the downward direction.
