    Good Morning STACers!

    Did everyone remember to "Spring Forward" this morning? I'd hate to see everyone be crazy early to work tomorrow. I don't have any weight loss to report this morning, but it's going to be a glorious day here in SE Georgia so I'm a happy guy. Lots of outside work today.

    I started buying my summer clothes yesterday. I am just swimming in last year's shorts and shirts. All of last year's stuff is XXL and XL shirts and 38 shorts. I actually got into some 33's in some brands. I think Perry Ellis is a big fan of vanity sizing.

    More working out with my son is scheduled for today. My legs are still sore from the 5k on Friday, so I think we'll do shoulders and abs today. I just don't recover from workouts the way I did in my 20's anymore. Getting old sucks except for the wisdom part.

    Here too, Day 6 of induction and Slim in 6. Loving SI6 now, day one was great... 2 & 3 were the worst, I was sore but I'm doing great now! Doing Slim & Limber, Start It Up and Slim & 6 Pack. Tomorrow is my "rest" day, so I'll do the Slim & Limber and Slim & 6 Pack. Gearing up for starting Ramp it up on Tuesday, which is also weigh in day.

      Good morning everyone! Okay-I officially weighed today so now, not again until next Sunday! I lost another pound! Officially 146!! The beauty here is I feel some sense of freedom now during the week. In the past I would have gotten on the scale and saw that perhaps I had some extra sodium bloat (or something), I would have gotten frustrated and QUIT! This discipline has helped me out a lot! T.J., I wish I could run a marathon or have any sort of intense workout like that-it's great. As I have not been following this board for too long, you sound like you are in pretty good shape to me! It sounds like you are in the military? Good luck today everyone! I will be checking in every day, and I do hope to reach my first mini goal by the time we get back from Siberia! Happy Sunday.

        Good Morning!
        Four days straight now in the sub 290 range (288.6 this morning), so I'm finally comfortable with the fact that I changed my signature. I'm so darn superstitious that I didn't want to post it and then gain 3 pounds. Not gonna happen though!
        Today is an exciting one for me. I'm taking my daughter (2 years old) to see Sesame Street Live in Philadelphia. What better way to spend a Sunday than with Elmo and Abby Cadabby? Okay, I can probably name a few ways too...

          Everyone look out, the site is going to crash again, Cara is reporting yet another loss. Slow down there! Yes Cara, I am in the military and no, I don't do all that running because I want to. I'm retiring next year and running with the 19 and 20 year olds sucks. I am certain that I am in better shape than most civilians my age though, so I guess there are some benefits. Even with all of the exercising we do, I did manage to get pretty plump though. I have to stay under 22% body fat to keep my job. Right now I'm at 20%, obviously I was over when I started this. As leadership, you have to set the example and I was failing my people. It feels good to be on the right side.

            HI everyone.. I am returning yet again Weighed this morning and going grocery shopping tomorrow... I am at a new heighest weight and it ain't pretty.. Weather here is gorgeous and I have 2 pairs of capri's I can wear.. I went through the winter wearing 3 pairs of sweats. I have TONS of Capri's and I wore them last year and I am going to wear them again this year!

                Today is the 3rd day and I feel very very blah....very bloated feeling in my legs, fingers, face.....I am downing some serious water today though....

                I think I need to 100% eliminate my salt for a little bit, I am a seasoning junkie!

                  Magicmarq, this WOE is a natural diuretic. You probably won't need to cut back on the seasonings unless you are really, really overdoing it on the salt. Perhaps you could look for a salt free or lower sodium seasoning. If you make your foods bland you might quickly lose interest in this. With as much water as we drink we are constanly flushing sodium and potassium out of our bodies. I don't think I could get bloated if I tried after doing this for as long as I have been doing it. Glad you found us, hang around for awhile.

                    My wife made a good point, she said that perhaps it is my body reacting to the water and rehydrating.....possible?

                      Sandy, welcome to the STAC club. If I may make a suggestion, I would set a few mini-goals and put them in your signature. Maybe 3 mini-goals 15 pounds a part and then go in increments of 10 pounds thereafter until you hit your goal. Mini-goals are fun, and you need to attain something to have a sense of accomplishment. I applaud your ultimate goal, but let's have some fun along the way.

                              Happy Sunday STAC'ers- I slept in and now it is really late.

                              Yesterday was hecka busy. We managed to get the office empty and spare room moved up. Today is empting the spare room so we can paint it for my daughter. My office is stuffed into the family room and my house is a distatser area.
