  • Roll Call 3/16/09 Monday

    Good morning, STACer's!! The good news is it's another week hopefully of more losses! The bad news is...it's Monday and I'm up at this hour and have been for 2 hours!! Have to be at work early. The auditor didn't show up last Tuesday and didn't show up on Friday. So....here we go again!

    Hope all of you have a wonderful day! I'll try to check in again tonight.

    Good Moring All,

    I'm up and going to my power aerobics class.

    We watched the space shuttle launch last night from our front yard. Even from 200+ miles away it was pretty neat. We could see the flaming contrail and it was unmistakably the shuttle. I think we'll have to get down there for the next one. We could even see the boosters separate from where we were at.

    I'm off to start another busy week.

      Wow that must have been cool tfek.

      Morning all. All OK here. Up early and lots of chores done already. Food on track. It's a nice sunny day and the washing is out on the line - that makes me smile!

        Good Morning... I have a dentist appointment today...YUCK.. Going to eat a dentist breakfast...and not sure what I am going to have for lunch cause it always takes my mouth forever to un numb.. Might stop and pick up some egg drop soup....

        Went to a birthday party yesterday and didn't cave..Proud of myself.. Looking forward to this week and another weigh in on Sunday

            I've been off and on the wagon for the past week. There's no excuse, though I'd like to blame it on HIGH amounts of stress, as I just purchased a new home and trying to pack, move and keep up with the kids all at the same time.

            No excuses.

            Anyway, here's my thoughts on it: SO WHAT? It's a new day, a new week. Thank goodness all this moving has kept my weight down.

            I had some yummy egg yolks in coconut oil for breakfast. I save the whites for my two little ones. They love them!

            At one point, I stepped on the scale and it said I gained 6pounds. I flipped out at first, then realized that it HAD to be water weight. I'm back down to my previous weight, only 2 days later.

            Some of my short term weight goals:
            (Roughly 2 lbs a week)

              Good Morning! I don't have to work today, but my six pound chihuahua feels the need to bark insanely when the wind blows too hard, so I'm up. I have a cold, so Im feeling very congested and blech but it's supposed to be beautiful day so I'm going to take the dogs for a nice long walk. I havent been very good about exercise so far. I really need to get moving.

              TJ - That is so cool that you could see that from your house. Im way jealous.
              Sandy - Congrats on not caving at the bday party! And sorry about the dentist!
              Everlosing - Good luck with the auditor - if he shows up. Try not to stress. Im sure you'll be fine!

                  Morning everyone! I'm back from the cruise and weighed in this am. I was only up 3 pounds from where I was the day I left, so not too bad. It wasn't so much the food as the alcohol.... Anyway, I'm back on track today, will kick in the water, and it'll be off in no time. I'm happy to see it being daylight later in the day, that means nice long doggie walks when I get home in the evening, and that's good for both of us

                    Hi all! I have had an amazing first week on induction. I've lost 11 Lbs. (and an incredible 11" loss all over) which is nothing short of amazing. I haven't had that much success even when I did Atkins the first time. I cut out cheese this time (because i think I have a dairy intolerance) and it seems to be the reason I stalled all the time.

                    I saw the Space Shutttle too. I live directly across from the shore where they launch about 30 minutes away and it is the neatest thing, better then you can imagine being this close to it. The colors are awesome. The whole family was out there. The kids get a kick out of it every time. I am shocked you can see it there in Georgia. That is really amazing.

                      TJ and Jen, I wrote on my Facebook last night that there were two things I missed about living in Florida: The Blue Water Express $3 Car Wash and Standing in my Front Yard Watching the Space Shuttle Go off!!!

                        Good Morning!
                        I'm back after a weekend away for spring training. Our baseball season is only two weeks away and it was nice to get together with the team to practice. We practiced for about 5 hours Saturday and then scrimmaged a team down in Ocean City, MD. It sure was nice to play with 35+ fewer pounds than I had on me last year. I even stole second base! Running, swinging a bat, and throwing are all SO much easier. I can't wait to see what it's like at 40, 50, 60, 70, etc.

                        TJ, that's too cool about the shuttle. Anyone who was in MD on Saturday might have seen something similar. The pitcher from the other team put a ball middle-in and belt high and I caught all of it. I hit a real moon shot that landed well over the fence...ha! Even a homerun trot is easier to do now!

                        Saturday night was spent at a bar. I stayed on plan for the most part. I was drinking scotch and soda and had a few beers. Although I did drink too much alcohol, I didn't eat anything that was off plan until Sunday morning. I wasn't feeling well so I had a bowl of soup at a restaurant. I don't know how many carbs it had, but it had to have more than my regular fare. I didn't lose this weekend, and I didn't gain, but I did get a LOT stronger.

                          Good Morning all.

                          I had a very busy weekend but made it out alive... with basket ball and swim meets I was good and had no cheats. Can you believe it? It was not easy with all of those taco's walking around. I think I can smell better now that I am on this diet. I can smell things from miles away. funny.

                          Anyway I hope all of you have a great week. I am off to state...as our basketball team qualified for STATE. Go Bobcats.
