    It's a conspiracy!

    You guys are not gonna believe this crap. I had to laugh, and Im home alone, so I figured I would share the irony with all of you.

    I just finished my 20 minute shred workout video and I'm feelin great cause it's the first time I've been able to get through the whole video without stroking out. Anyway, I go out to check the mail and I'll be damned if there isn't a free sample of BETTY CROCKER WARM DELIGHTS in my freakin mailbox! WHAT?! A box of ooey gooey brownie drenched in chocolate sauce, right in my mailbox!!! So there I stood for about 60 seconds with my mouth hanging wide open in disbelief. My neighbors probably think I'm nuts. After I regained control of myself, I slowly reached in and retrieved it (as if it were an explosive device) and then RAN over to the outside garbage can and threw it away. I probably couldve given it away or something, but I couldnt let that evil thing in my house. So now Im super proud of myself and feeling great once again, but the Warm Delights Incident will haunt me forever. Beware people! It can happen to you!

        ROFL -the only free samples I ever get are fabric conditioner and light bulbs. Still I suppose I should count myself lucky! Congratulations on having the will-power to throw the in the bin.

              That's hysterical. Thanks for sharing!!! Makes me think of the other morning the kid came running in my classroom with the free Chicfila biscuit I won for perfect attendance. "don't put that on my desk!!!"

                    lol. Thanks everyone! My husband came home from work and said "I would've eaten it" and I felt like kicking him in the shin. Anyway, glad I could make you guys laugh.

                      The month I started Atkins, a new high-end grocery store opened in my town. Trying to drum up business, every time you walked in the door, they were handing you actual product or a coupon to get something free. I went a lot because they had different stuff on sale each day of the week. I had a hard time making them understand that I didn't care that the big $3 box Ritz crackers was absolutely free--I didn't want it in my cart. They were giving away 2-liter bottles of soda, 5-lb. bags of sugar, huge bags of chips, cookies--not a thing I could use on Atkins. I tried to justify turning down free food when people are going hungry, but I didn't trust myself at the beginning to not eat it before donating it to charity.
                      People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

                            Good For You! What amazing proactive willpower! I would have probably kept it for the kids or DH but would end up caving in and devouring it before they came home. Thanks for the inspiration.

                              I must be lucky -- the last "freebie" to be put into our mailbox was an ink pen...before that (other than bills) was a small box of Curves cereal - the box looked more appetizing than the cereal inside (mom ate it).

                              ... I can see you running to the garbage can, chucking the contriband into the can and ducking for cover in your home...I'm surprised someone in the neighborhood didn't call the bomb squad...
