    Whew what a day. The last time I had cravings for something this bad was when I quit smoking 10 years ago. I think sugar is just as bad of a drug as the cigarettes were. With that being said I think tommorrow will be easier.

    Hey Gmule! You are right! Believe it or not, one day soon you will have to remember to watch the clock just to make sure you eat every 6 hours. I am on day 8 of induction and today I was no longer bothered by carb longings. Don't get me wrong, I am not "cured" but I think because my blood sugar levels are steady and low, I am not as hungry. I am glad you made it through day one. It will get easier. Keep upi the good work!

        Yup, the first couple of days are the worst. I ate a lot the first few days because of the cravings. Now I am in day 11 and I am noticing that I don't want as much food and no longer have any carb cravings.

          I got thru my first day back on induction yesterday as well, but I find I don't get hit with the cravings until day 3 or so...and then days 4 and 5 I have a headache, but after that, I should be okay.

          Good luck today, it should be better!

            So far I am clean for day 2 and another 30 miles on my bike.
