    Happy Grey's Day Everyone!

    Nothing much to report this morning, no losses or gains. Busy day today. Both kids have sports at different locations, my wife is at the hospital doing clinicals, and I have a crazy day schedluled at work. I have a great lunch packed of smoked chicken thighs, smoked ribs, and chili. At least I'll eat well today.

    Lunch sounds great! What time???? I'm taking egg salad for lunch and I have a hamburger patty for breakfast. Hopefully the cafeteria will have salad today. Usually, their vegetable of the day is ketchup. Anyway...

    If I could get off the computer and get downstairs, I could have time to scramble some eggs for breakfast because you KNOW, I love me some scrambled eggs. But I gotta check my Facebook. Anyone else addicted to FB???

      We are organizing our 20th highschool reunion via facebook, so I have an account now. It's been pretty cool "seeing" everyone again.

        I know this is OT but yeah, Facebook has reconnected me with people I never thought I'd see again. I absolutely love it. And...it's an extremely easy way to share pictures with family and friends.

        When we had the snow here a couple of weeks ago, the first thing I did was run outside, take a picture and post it to FB. Then, unfortunately, I get lazy about sending the pictures to the people who aren't on FB.

          Speaking of lunch, I have a nice homemade green salad (no crutons) and parmesan crusted "fried" chicken. Can't wait to dig in! For some reason, this time around on Atkins, the food is so good.

            Morning all. Already have 2 of the 3 pounds I gained on vacation gone!! It took me a couple of days to get fully back on track, but here I am. I love this WOE. Pushing water and staying on track today. Hope you all have a great day.

              I love facebook too Especially when you find friends that you hadn't talked to in 20 years..

              Well I am still on track.. Getting a little discouraged and I shouldn't be.. Last week I lost 12lbs and dumb me keeps checking my weight this week and I am a lb up.. GRRR.. I need to just stay off the scales and not peek all week..

                Hello all! I want to announce that this morning, i am 187!! I have not been under 190 in years! SO SO SO NICE to see an '8' on my scale!! More good news: After weeks of begging, my fiance has finally agreed to join the gym! So tomorrow, he will join!! He's almost 300 pounds... and his eating habits have threatened to derail me more than once on this journey. How amazing it would be to have a long healthy life together!!! Good luck to everyone today - don't forget your water!!

                  Good morning all!
                  I weighed in for my biggest loser contest today and had an "official" weight of 285. That's a 5 pound loss since last Thursday and I am still in the lead. The contest ends in the first week of April.
                  The nicest thing is that this week is the week that lots of people have noticed a change. A teammate that I haven't played ball with or seen since the summer told me she was shocked at how I looked. She said my "ballplayer" shape is coming back. It was nice to hear.

                    Hi,
                    I'm on day 3 and (of a re-re-re-re-+++start) and doing great! i started the abs challenge yesterday and did 50 modified sit ups yesterday; 50 more today! A few other indoor excercises too on both days, hopefully i'll find motivation to get walking soon. No induction flu yet, nice to be off to a smooth start.

                      Grrrr....I'm frustrated.

                      My scale read 283.5 this morning, and I'm not sure why. It is my TOM...but usually my weight gain for that happens the week prior. I have been eating fresh foods and not adding salt...so I don't think it's a sodium problem but maybe I'm wrong. That's a big jump from where I was yesterday morning, so I'm totally annoyed. I ate essentially the same menu yesterday that I had on monday....lunch and dinner were exactly the same with only breakfast being different. I don't know...obviously it's not a fat gain, right? I just want to know what it is. I hope it's gone by my next weigh in!

                      Grrrrr.....

                      This is probably why I shouldn't weigh every morning.

                      Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                        Good Morning STACrs! No change today on the scale for me, although I do not really worry about the weigh ins during the week, just sat weigh in/measurement day. I have decided to do the C25K running program. It claims it will have be running 5K within in 9 weeks...honestly I have been wanting a running program for awhile now and am so happy to have found one that seems very doable! I hope it will up my losses as well.

                            good morning!

                            checking in. 204 on the scale again today. I seriously wonder if I've been drinking too much water, as I had less yesterday. :dunno:

                            I have a roast in the oven, which I'm excited about! my non-desire to eat anything processed (or that I, for the most part, didn't make myself) is high indeed. i'm motivated to cook! I just need to hire someone to clean up the resulting messes.

                              Good (late) morning.

                              Day 2.
                              I realized this morning that I'd read the scale wrong yesterday. I'm glad it remembers the previous reading! Instead of 269, it was 267.9, and this morning I'm 267.7. Woot!

                              I think I'll probably be obsess with the scale for a little while, then I'll try to just weigh in every week or so, once I'm done with induction.

                              Today we have afternoon bowling, so there's my activity.

                              My goal is to drink 2 sigg bottles of water today.

                              Had 2 scrambled eggs & 3 pieces of bacon this morning. And I'm baking chicken that will go into our salads for lunch. I think we'll have salmon for dinner tonight. There's still some parm/cream broccoli that my hubby made a few days ago. Luckily all the ingredients are were low-carb!

                              I'm struggling on what to eat for snacks. Boiled eggs? Sugar free Jello?
                              I think I need to go to the store.
