      Hi Gabby,

It's ok. We are all here to give each other support. Start with us - maybe join a doable challenge to give you some motivation along the way. Think how good you'll feel after a week or so. S-

Sometimes you have to work backwards until you get things right. If you're speaking of re-starting induction for umpteenth time perhaps you should reconsider. I only say that because starting and re-starting induction over and over is not very good for your metabolism and the more you do it the more adapted your body becomes which usually means the less weight you lose and THAT can be a really devastating blow when you *FINALLY* get induction right and follow it to the letter. I am saying this with extreme caution because I am in no way trying to advise anyone to try to do thier own thing with regard to Atkins. Instead of struggling with induction, try starting at one of the higher rungs. There is usually a reason why people have a hard time with induction and the limited food choices are almost high on the list. Following a higher rung will allow you a bit more freedom of choice with your foods. Of course, you probably won't lose weight as fast as someone following induction but if you lose and are satisfied with your foods then the success might give you the push to scale back to a lower level of carbs. Or not-there are plenty of folks who follow induction, move on and meet thier weight loss goals while eating in the higher rungs.
I hope this is a fresh option for you that just might work out.

I know how you feel. I totally botched my first Induction, and I didn't take it back up for years (and more pounds). I think it finally clicked in my head that I can be the size I've been always felt I should be. And I wanted to figure out the best way to get there. I was thinking back on all the random diets I tried since I became bigger, and I remembered how Atkins made me not hungry and made me never crave any foods. Food shouldn't have control over a person like it did with me, so I wanted to get control of my body back.

I think working through the mentality of it helped me regain commitment, but I'm sure different things work for different people. Best of luck to you!

What I love about Atkins and ADBB...there's none of that "well you should have stayed on the wagon the first time" guilt. We do enough of that to ourselves Sounds like you're prepared and ready to go...good for you! Keep going!
