    Good Morning Everyone.. I am going to start this roll call with a vent... Remember yesterday when I said I resisted BUYING those Krispy Kreme doughnuts on Saturday for the kids.. So what does hubby walk in with ???? YES a box of those doughnuts.. UGH! There were only six in there and I told my son to eat away.. I can tell there are still some there cause the box is on top of the fridge...

    I am going to go to water aerobics.. I love doing it when I am there.. its just hard to push me to get there... Also planning to go by Walmart to get a new Bathing Suit cause the one I have is soooooo stretched out...

    Well, today is my Weekly Weigh Day. :-( I haven't weighed in two weeks and I'm up a pound. However, that still puts me four pounds down in the past four weeks AND my size 14s are falling off me so I'm just writing today off as a fluke and I know that next Monday will bring better news.

    Spring Break is two weeks from today and I'm going to the beach in NC to visit some friends that I haven't seen in a while!!!

      Sandy stay away from those donuts! Go buy a new bathing suit & get yourself to your class. I know how much you love your water aerobics.

        Good morning all

        Starting week 3 today-I think I'm going to hop up a rung and add more veggies. My foods are all set for the week - I am on track for success! Now all I have to do is squeeze in my exercise!

        Sandy - those doughnuts arent worth a second thought!

          good morning everyone, I have been good all weekend and when i stepped on the scale i was up 3 lbs. I have been using my new treadmill since saturday total time probly close to 2 hours on it at a slow pace. Would that make a difference? I was a couch potato. I havent exercised in 4 years. Need a real whoosh of weight loss,losing hope of being thinner/healthier again. Cant believe how bummed i feel. Got any suggestions. I am definatly drinking more water, and staying away from the zuccini/sausage stew maybe its water weight? I dont know i just feel so fat today. blah!!!! Hope everyone has a better day and weigh in then i did :O)

            Hmmmm, I just put on a pair of pants (12s)that didn't fit me last week and they went on with no problem. I'm wearing them to school today.

              Yep, water weight. You won't get a whoosh from a one time long time on the treadmill. For awhile, your muscles are going to retain water while you get a workout program started. It won't pay you back instantly but will pay you in so many ways down the road. You just have to keep at it to convince your body this new way is the only way. Then you get shed some pounds!! Keep going...increase you time, speed and distance. It'll pay you back!

                Good morning everyone!

                I think I'm back in ketosis after a two week stint off Atkins that felt like 2 months. Luckily, I've been back three days and the weight I gained from going off is already gone. So, lucky me. Seriously. I'm very lucky I didn't gain too much... every other time I've gone off I've gained a lot more and couldn't lose it quickly.

                I'm feeling great too! Woke up early today, not groggy at all, I have that energy whoosh back!

                I'm gonna go eat some salmon with dill pickles for breakfast, then get Aidan on the school bus!

                  Good Morning Everyone,

                  One of my goals this week is to drink 100 oz of water per day. After I unpacked my water bottles, I filled them up and easily chugged down 100 oz over the course of yesterday. My orange water bottle sits happily on my desk as I take swigs of water from time to time. Now, this is easy! I had to figure out how to make it accessible, easy and organized in order to get my water intake up. I know...much to do about nothing. That's how my mind works. I'm just glad I figured it out.

                      Well...as I suspected...I'm up .5 pounds. I really can't explain this. I really, REALLY hope my CCL is not 20! All I did this week was up my veggies. That seriusly can't be it, right? I was in ketosis every single day....didn't get knocked out even once.

                      I still have a little chest congestion...lol...feel like blaming my weight gain on that.

                      I've been contemplating buying a new scale. My current one only does .5 pound increments...I think I want to see something more granular than that.

                      Such a disappointing way to start the week when you feel like your doing everything right. *sigh*

                      I gotta get ready for work.

                      Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                        Good morning!
                        What a rough weekend...personally and plan-wise. I realize now how much of an emotional eater I was, and can still be. I won't get into details, because I just don't have the energy, but it was a rough weekend and I fell completely off the wagon.
                        So, today is day one all over again. My little self-pity party is over and I'm back to the grind. I'm not goign to weigh in until Thursday...here's hoping I didn't totally sabotage myself in two days.

                          I walked five miles today and got my water in. I was hungry all day. Don't know why. Wound up eating 2000 calories today! :O I had taken Ibuprofen for a hip muscle problem and the irritation in my stomach may have had something to do with it. Didn't have any of my known trigger foods. Oh well, a mystery.

                            Good morning everyone! I don't know what happened to my post earlier, but it disappeard into cyberspace somewhere. It was full of knowledge and wisdom, and now I can't remember it. I think it had the cure to the recession in it too. Bummer.

                            Anyway, Plsmachic, you suck. When I cheat it takes 2 weeks to get back on track. I guess I cheat better than you.

                            Ruthanne, I second the water weight. When I started working out I gained 6 pounds in two days. I have spent the last month relosing those pounds, but my waist is getting smaller. Pounds lost are great, but inches are better.

                            I need to join the "fell off the wagon" club and come clean. I went out for chinese last night and I guess they have a new "chef". The chicken that I usually get was breaded for some reason. Usually it isn't, and the ribs had some kind of sugary glaze. They never did before. I guess I can cross that restaurant off my list. I didn't eat much, but I'm sure I went over my carb totals a wee bit. My night and morning weights don't seem to be affected, so I'm not sweating it. It wasn't a full blown crazy gain 8 pounds meal. I did work out especially hard yesterday, so I think I'm good on this one. It just makes me angry that I had been cheat free since the second week of January and that happened. Oh well, I'm the one that put it in my mouth, so it's my fault it happened.

                              Good morning, everyone! I finally hopped on the scale last night and it showed I've lost 2lb since my last weigh-in. That's a total of 5lb since I started on the 14th. Not astronomical, but I'll take it! I chalk it up to a couple swigs of diet Sprite (yeah, with aspartame ) over the week maybe causing stalls here and there. Anyway, I'm going to change my schedule for doing Wii Fit, because I think my current "Work Out at Night" thing isn't cutting it. I'm going to try doing it right when I get home from work.
