  • 2 weeks of induction done...

...and I'm down 7 lbs! I'm happy to have lost the 7, and to have remained steadily in ketosis. I am going to move to the first step of the ladder which is more veggies this week. I'm just aching to skip right to where I get to add nuts & seeds...but will hold out for as long as possible. I am finding that I am needing more than just the induction foods to keep me satisfied...like craving peanut butter, etc. Any tips?

cream cheese and deviled eggs are the two things that seem to be rich and filling and creamy for me. Or an ounce of smoked gouda. I absolutely had a difficult time with BB. I love it and would use a spoonful as a snack, but one sometimes became two, and then.... you get the idea.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

Welcome to the board, Heather, and congrats on your 7 lb weight loss. If I get a craving for PB, i usually just get a tsp. of PB and add 1 Splenda. That helps for me. Just stick to this board, and you'll get all the advice you need.

Thank you both! Those are great tips!

I think that b/c I'm on such a vigorous work out program, that I get cravings for stuff like my yogurt & PB. Luckily I love natural PB & plain Fage Greek yogurt, so I am just incorporating small portions into my diet as needed, & I keep monitoring my progress w/ ketostix to see if anything causes me to go out of ketosis. And also keeping atr the 25 carbs a day. Does anyone know once you move to 25-30-35 etc. carbs a day how quickly/slowly we lose weight? I know it's different for everyone, but I thought maybe there was a "norm"...

        Thanks!
