  • Two weeks done!!!!!

    Hey everyone

im happy to say i have gotten through two weeks on Atkins. I am so proud of myself and i never thought i could do it. All the cravings are gone. All the bad feelings that I cant do it are gone. I feel energetic and loving life again.

I lost a total of 9 pounds. I must say i followed the plan as well as i good. I exercised daily for 40 minutes - i even started running the second week for 10 out of the 40 minutes. Thats as much as i can do now but i wanna keep pushing myself to run more. Plus im doing some squats and ab crunches.

Im actually so energetic that i do my exercise in the morn and then in the evening i play ball with the kids and they love the fact that mom is playing with them and so do I!

Just wanted to share and hopefully everyone is doing well also.

im gonna start trying to move up the rungs now. But this is sometimes where i get messed up.

Congratulations! Just take it slow. I usually add 5 more grams of carbs from the foods I have been eating, then start adding foods from the next rung one at a time the following week. It is just a precaution on my part to make sure I haven't hit my CCLL rather than being new foods.

Congrats Charity! Just take it slow and steady and you'll be fine. I just moved up to OWL as well, and I second what ChinaDoll said. I usually add five more grams of carbs from the veggies Im already eating and then start to move up the rungs a week at a time. Good Luck!
