    Happy Birthday Ever! I hope you have a wonderful day!

    No work for me today! Yay! I actually got to sleep in a bit. Ive moved up to OWL Rung 1 and things are good so far. I had the yummiest rib eye steak for dinner the other night with sauteed mushrooms and onions. mmmmmm. I need to work on my water though, I only drank 2 liters yesterday.

      Good morning, all!

      Well, I had a bad weekend and was worried about the scale, so I decided not to weigh in until Thursday. Yeah...that didn't last very long. I weighed in this morning at 285.5...so I'm .5 pounds up. Lots of water yesterday and a little bit of luck. I think the weight gain fairy took it easy on me, because I can be back on track by Thursday and will show a loss when I weigh in for my competition.

      The contest ends next week...I want to hit 40 pounds lost in the contest, which would mean I have to hit 45 overall by next Thursday.

        Good morning All!! Happy Birthday Ever!!

        I haven't been on in a couple days... things hectic around my house and work. My two yr old has decided she's not going to wear diapers anymore... which is awesome! but... doing a lot of laundry. Haven't gotten to the gym in a couple days either As of today - i have 38 days until i get married. Dress finally fits, but is snug in the boobs... which gives me some enviable back cleavage!

        Need to work on my water intake. I didn't exactly fall off track, in that i haven't cheated or anything - but i definitely slacked on the water, and am feeling the effects.

        Goal moving forward: 3 liters of water per day, hit the gym 5-6 days a week without fail.

          Happy Birthday Ever, here is a can of spam enjoy it.... LOL

          I am still sick with what I believe is the flue. I have not been this sick in years. I have to work (not fun) all week with a regional manager so I can't take it easy.

          I am still steaked out. I am watching the early show and they are saying red meat leads to death. Great 1/4 lb daily dramatically increases your risk of death. I don't think they take into mind the amount of other foods with fiber that can make a huge difference. They even went as far to say that char broiled can cause cancer due to the way it is prepared.

          Why don't they say eating ding dongs daily can lead to death? Or eating wonder bread will lead to an early death

            I'm still a bit under the weather today, which sucks because I feel like just sitting here like a miserable heap and waiting for the day to pass, but I'll regroup over lunch and be ready to work out this afternoon. Maybe watch Mail Call so R Lee Ermey can yell at me and wake me up.

              Im here....its raining and cold out today (65 degrees) so i'm moving a little slow. Tonight at the gym is pilates and maybe kickboxing. Depends on how much energy i end up having...atelast pilates. I burn about 400 cals an hour.

              With all this talk about steak i think ill pick one up for dinner!!

              I really hope to be in the 160s next week.

                Happy birthday Ever! Hope your scale is kind to you!

                I woke up at 5:30 am and did a workout! Wohhooo!!! It's not QUITE where I want it to be, but it's a starting point. I'm just so glad I did it!

                I THINK I might have kicked myself out of ketosis last night accoring to the strips. For the very first time...I didn't get a color change today. But I also had almost NOTHING in my bladder when I tested...I had to squeeze hard to get a drop. LOL...I didn't have time to wait for my bladder to fill up so now I can't say for sure If I did kick myself out, I did it by eating the following yesterday:

                Breakfast: 2 egg/sausage/cauliflower muffins (basically a quiche in a muffin tin)...approximately 4 tablespoons of cauliflower total...Fitday says 2 carbs per muffin

                Snack: Pickle (2 carbs)

                Lunch: Spaghetti Squash (4 net carbs) with homemade spagetti sauce (7 net carbs)

                forgot to snack in afternoon

                Dinner: 2 cups cauliflower (5), 1 hot dog (1 carb) and 2 oz cheese (2 carbs) and 1 serving cheesecake for desert (3 carbs)

                So...I get 28 net carbs yesterday. Yes...over my 25 max that I should be at for now, but I didn't think it would kick me out completely. I'll have to test later and see where I'm at. I don't bring the strips to work unfortunately.

                Regardless if I'm in or out of ketosis...I woke up energized today and am feeling great...so I'm a happy camper.

That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                  Feeling great - but still sitting at 204. Oh well... the scale stopped for a fleeting moment at 203.8 this morning so I know what's coming next!!

                  But your revelation made me think of something I meant to share with the group last week, but forgot... I went in for my annual mamagram last Monday... there I stood, all clothing off from the waist up when the tech-lady (who was staring at my boobies) said, "have you lost weight?" I was perplexed because I'd never met this woman before... I told her I had and asked how she knew. She said that the images from my last mamagram showed larger breasts! Remember... we're not talking photos here... we're talking about an x-ray-like image of mashed-in-a-vice-like-machine boobs. CRAZY!! Talk about a weird moment!!
                  Hey... I'll take good news where ever it comes from!!

                  My water bottle is sitting beside me... I had left over steak for breaky so my tummy is nicely full (yep - it's a beef bonanza on STAC these days - to heck with that new report predicting death to all red-meat eaters!)... I'm all vitamined up... it's going to be a great ON-PLAN day!

                    Hello everyone,

                    Happy birthday everlosing. I've been so busy I haven' been on roll call for 3 days now. I need to do it first thing in the morning - sets my spirit up for the day.

                    Had a very bad thursday and friday. Won't go into details. hope to be back into ketosis thursday. I'm going to re-do a clean induction and then move to OWL asap. I think that is my problem - I push it too long on induction then fail then start againn etc.

                    Have a good day everyone. i'm off to the gym at 3:00. New time for me. I usually go in the morning but i need to squeeze more in the day - hoping this time change will help with that.

                        I made blackened shrimp alfredo for supper tonight. I nuked a bunch of cauliflower and sauteed it with the shrimp. Hubby got pasta, alfredo sauce, shrimp and cauliflower. I made a salad and then took out some shrimp and cauliflower before I added the alfredo sauce. It was great.

                        I cheated and used a canned alfredo sauce. It was very low in carbs but I didn't want to use the carbs and the shrimp was great with just the blackening.

                          Hi all. Still going strong. I'm in my third week on induction with amazing results. I lost 16 Lbs. in two weeks. Not bad huh? I'm pretty excited about that. I haven't done any exercise in a few days because I've felt really really tired. I think its from the lack of iron???? I am borderline Anemic. Feeling better in my clothes already. I love this WOE.

                            Happy B'day, Everlosing ... hope it's been a great one; better late in the day with the good wishes than never!

                            Spent my day running errands ; we're a one-vehicle family so when I get the truck I go on a tear. The library, Lowe's (finishing touches for the garden), the grocery store and a dollar store (long live dollar stores!). I was born without the "shopping gene" so I don't enjoy it, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Although dollar stores are actually fun for me ... what you can buy with a 20 spot ... w00t!

                              I just made the yummiest thing that I'm sure is not rocket science to you STAC'ers...but thought I'd share anyway.

                              I had some roast beef that I heated with some swiss cheese and a piece of bacon. I ate it wrapped in a romaine lettuce leaf with some mayo...mmmmm...the combo of warm and melty and cruncy was so delicious!

                              It was an early dinner for me because my schedule tonight is wonky. Hopefully now I'll just need a small snack when I get home at 6:30 to tide me over for the night. I want to get to bed early again and try for another 5:30am workout. I feel fantastic today!

                                Just wanted to check in again and say THANK YOU to everyone for the happy birthday wishes!! I really do appreciate it. I think I got a happy birthday from just a handful of people today if you don't count this board!! I love it here! My mom actually called me today and forgot to say it. Funny!! I have a twin sister too. You'd think she'd quickly remember the birth date of her 2 out of 3 kids!! She did remember by lunch time! My ex called before 7 am to wish me a happy birthday and a great day. My horrid ex but not Mama!! What does that say??!! We have horrible storms almost on top of us. Shingles have been flying for a couple of hours now. Have a great night everyone! Thanks again. You're terrific!!
