  • Roll Call 3/27/09 FRIDAY!!!

    Good morning, everyone!! Hope everyone has a great Friday today! I'm on plan and waiting for my body to catch up with my mind!! I haven't measured in a couple of weeks. I usually do it every Sunday and see inches lost so I'm looking forward to doing that this weekend. The number aren't just dropping on the scale but my smallest jeans are getting looser so I can't complain too much!

    So...here's to a great weekend! I hope you all enjoy yours!

    Morning!

    All OK here. I have been exercising most days. My jeans are getting looser and I am on track foodwise (although have eaten a bit more than usual in the last two days).

    Off to do some cardio now - have a nice day

      Good morning! I'm heading to Charlotte after school to see a friend that I haven't seen in 14 years. Let's see, I was 25 the last time I saw her! And probably 15 pounds smaller!!!

        Good Morning..its been a busy morning here... I am sitting here waiting for my sausage and egg casserole to be done...

        I have another job interview toda about 45 minutes away...

          Good Morning everyone! Feeling great and looking forward to the weekend! Im up to 14 pounds lost so far and Im in my third week. YAY! Im expecting my weight loss to slow down soon, but it's ok. Slow and steady wins the race! I also got a pedometer and found out yesterday that I walk an average of two miles just in the course of a normal work day! How exciting!

            TGIF!

            Staying on plan - exercised this morning which I didnt WANT to do but talked myself into it.

            I'm up 1lb from my low this week - I hope I at least see that one gone tomorrow for my final weigh in before my week away from the scale.

            My DH and I may have a celebration dinner out this weekend - my company is waiting on the award of a huge contract that would keep myself and many others employed for the next four years. Keep your fingers crossed for me & my workmates

            Have a busy weekend planned - so I need to plan out my foods and make sure I'm covered and have enough safe foods available and ready to go!

              Hey all...happy friday! It's pizza day for me...having cauliflower crust pizza for dinner! I froze two six inch pizza crusts last weekend so it won't even be much work. NICE!

              Up .5 today...I worked out yesterday, so maybe it's that? It can't possibly be food, seriously. Yesterday was a weird eating day. I had a small breakfast, lunch was leftovers of chicken and broccoli from Outback from the night before and 1/2 of a piece of cheesecake. Then I didn't have time for dinner so I only ate a couple pieces of salami and the other half piece of a cheesecake. I know I didn't eat enough, but I'll make up for it today. It was just a weird day.

              I might take some pictures of my face and show differences so far...that's where I can totally see the loss to date. No treally seeing it anywhere else, but it will come.

              Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                Good morning good morning good morning to all!
                Two people at work have said to me this morning that i'm really slimming down (still at 17 pounds)... compliments like that are way better than anything the scale has to say.

                  Just checking in! Still slowly losing! Had a crazy month of march so I can't wait for April and warmer weather so I can start walking outside again! (I hate to be cold...LOL). Have a wonderful weekend everyone and be good!!!

                    I finally broke through the second week stall this morning. I've been bouncing around 218 and 216.3 for the entire length of my second week of induction but this morning on day 16 (and after first starting to take coconut oil i might add) i'm at 215.5. wee!

                        This thread is so positive I love reading it! Everyone is losing, eating right, and doing cardio. I am on day 5 of induction, I ate too many carbs yesterday, and I have the never ending cold so I have not been getting out to walk. All that aside I am still down 6 pounds as of yesterday and I am feeling good today!

                          Felt really bad on day2, very tired, headache all day on day 3. Bit better today though.

                            I've decided to change my weigh in day to Fridays...my logic behind this is that all day today I've been thinking about how I will have time to do some great workouts this weekend...and then in the back of my mind I think "but it will make me gain for Monday's weigh in if I do too much"...which makes me start thinking maybe I shouldn't do anything. Clearly...not a good thing. So...If I use today as my weigh in day, then I won't have that lame excuse to fall back on going forward for not utilizing my free time over the weekends to exercise harder than I do during the week. I realize that the exercise, if done consistently, shouldn't affect my overall trend...but it's a psychological thing.

                            So...that said...today's weight was 279.5...I'm claiming it.

                            I bought a new scale! I just got it though...can't wait to try it out tomorrow. It supposedly tracks % of body fat and hydration...which would be very interesting to see next time I forget a water pill. LOL...it was only $25 at costco! Way better than the Bed Bath and Beyond deal I was waiting for.

                              Here. Still stuck at that +1 pound. Part of me wishes I'd checked the calendar and perhaps not started induction right before my TOM. Oh well. Probably better overall that I just started, no matter when.

                              Maybe it will fall off again (with a few friends) once my period starts?

                              I think I'm going to find some jeans that haven't fit in awhile and use that as inspiration.
