    Good Morning All!

    For the month of March I have officially lost 3 whole pounds. Kind of disappointing, but I'll take it. Hopefully April will be better.

    I have an audit at work today, kind of a surprise type thing. It's in the smallest of the 4 areas I oversee, and I have all new people working there. I should get bent over pretty well. Oh well, some days your're the windshield, some days you're the fly.

      Morning everyone! Just got back in from a 30 min walk-sprint-walk. I can run further every time I go!!

      Foods are on track - no cheats, extra veggies and lots of water.

      Still on a scale free streak until Saturday morning! Hope the week off the scale shows even a tiny loss.

      Off to a great pizza place for lunch today with my workmates. I already know what I am ordering - Lrg Salad w/grilled chicken! Oh yes I checked out the menu last night online for my options

          Some days you're the statue and some days you're the pigeon.

          Anyway, my topic for the day is Emotional Eating. I am having some real issues in my life right now. You know I don't drink and you know I don't smoke. So, what's left? Yep, food. Sigh.

          Anything else that I could get addicted to???? I'm having a sad, sad day and would love a cigarette. Yesterday was eleven months since I had a smoke and Ihaven't craved one in seven or eight months until yesterday. Shew.

            Good morning everyone,
            I have had the treadmill for just over a week now. I started at it walking about 1 mile an hour for about 20 mins. I built up since then only taking one day off i now walk 2.1 miles an hour for 2 miles (maybe this is part of my stall too weight hasnt budge since the day after i started using it). It feels great i have so much energy. I wish i bought this a long time ago. I need an even surface to walk or my back will go out of wack and i hate to walk alone outside. I acutally look forward to walking when the kids get on the bus and i get to watch good morning america such an active show that time flies by. I have been a couch potato for way to many years. I dont take naps in the afternoon anymore i am not tired. I wish i knew about atkins along time ago. I would of been much happier for so many more years. His diet has changed my life and my outlook on life.
            My kids say i am not cranky anymore, now to cut out their carbs so i dont have to deal with there attitudes

            I will not give up hope that the scales havent moved. I measured my waist this morning it says i am 1/2 less then yesterday. Not sure thats right but i do feel better.

            does anyone know why i wake up hungry? I get up at 6 and i am like feeling starved, but i dont make anything to eat til 720 not cuz of schedule just because after a few mins of being up an am not feeling starved.

                  I've had company since Saturday but I'm still on plan. And we finally got the our swimming pool heater fixed so I'm swimming again.

                  My grandson's wife had twins last night so that's my big news today!

                    I've been reading the roll call everyday though I have not been checking in. I'm feeling healthy and very satiated though not seeing great weight loss. Ketostix are still nice and purple and I am well hydrated (about 1 gallon/day). Yesterday I started to think about a perhaps candida overgrowth. I did the spit test this morning and it looked negative to me. I'm relieved about that though I think I will monitor my cheese intake more closely and see if that helps. Have a great day everyone!

                        mornin' everyone. Its day 20 for me, and things seem to be going backwards. I was so excited to have gone this long without cheating, i really thought it'd be even better than last time, where I ended up cheating about once every week or two. Now its day 20. starting at 226, my weight went way down to about 215 on day 8. the entire second week plus some, I went between 216 and 218 . the third week I haven't looked at the scale much, but today I failed jimmies no weigh challenge (but suprise, darn scale) and its at 220. It doesn't make any sense. Why would I lose better back when I was cheating, than when i'm doing it RIGHT?

                          Kib - I always .. always ALWAYS gain weight or lose nothing at all weeks 3,4 & 5! Then it all seems to start up again and melt off. It's always so difficult for me to see the scale go up 2, down one, up 3, down 2. That's when I get discouraged and cheat =(

                          Drink your water, stay on track, maybe up your veggies an extra 5 carbs? sometimes that gives our bodies an extra kick start.

                          As far as the scale free challenge - it's a challenge it wouldnt be called that if it was easy to do Try to stay off it until Sat - at least your efforts will have gotten you to the finish line

                            Happy Tuesday STAC'ers

                            I had another super busy day yesterday with my job. If I can just make it till May 1st then all the crazy days will be over.

                            Eating on plan and drinking my water I will not weigh in until Friday.

                            Kelly- instead of food, cigs and liquor why not exercise? Maybe you can get addicted to endorofins. Hang in there.

                            TJ- I am sure you will do great today.

                            Kib- don't stress the scale. If you are going to weigh every day you should do it like Vikie and graff it so you can see the pattern and the bigger picture. It is just water. Maybe you had a little to much salt the day before.

                              I so wish I could get addicted to exercise. Unfortunately, although I do it, every minute is like pure torture. Not painful physical torture. Excruciating mental torture.
