I was on atkins about four years ago and lost 70 lbs. I was so happy, and felt great! My weight started creeping up..gained back about 30 lbs, and then got pregnant (with number four). I always gain a ton of weight during pregnancy, so this time was no different! My baby is now over 2 1/2 and I haven't been able to lose the weight yet! I restarted Atkins almost four weeks ago, and have only lost 5 lbs! I am really struggling to stay motivated! I have kept CLOSE watch on the carbs. I am in ketosis, but not losing weight! What is going on? I don't understand why it is so hard to drop the pounds this time! Help!?

You need to post a menu. Not all carbs are created equal I am sure you know. I don't know any one who gains weight from eating spinach or zuchini. Now if your eating lc junk food you will have problems.
Whenever I stall I eat fat. I make the cream cheese muffins or another good fat source like vegi & ham quiche. However we can't really offer advice with out seeing your actual food intake, so post a few menus and we will all take a looksee.

Here is a typical day..does not change too much
2 eggs with cheddar cheese (1/3 cup)
coffee with heavy cream
tuna w/mayo and pickles (dill)
...sometimes I eat taco meat with sour cream and cheese instead
if hungry in the afternoons, I will either eat an Atkins daybreak bar (2 net carbs) or 1/4 cup sunflower seeds ..1 carb
for dinner , I eat some kind of meat..pork chops, chicken, hamburger patty..just whatever we have..and will cut up a cucumber and eat with ranch dressing, or have okra or spinach (raw)
If I have not had a bar during the day, I might eat one before bed
I drink decaf tea sweetened with splenda (I am not too fond of plain water) I try to excercise..but..I have four kids that I homeschool..so that does not always work out! I know I am in ketosis..by the strips, and by the keto breath!!!! please help..offered any advice..I REALLY want to lose this weight! My husband lost 75 lbs a few years ago and has kept it off..he eats freely on the weekends and goes back to induction for most of the week..I want to lose weight for not only me..but for him! Thanks for responding to my post!

First..get rid of the sunflower seeds..nuts aren't until Rung 3 I think..and those Atkins bars are of the devil....lol Seriously..try getting rid of them... You need more veggies... With that taco meat through some...lettuce, tomatoes on top... Don't be afraid to eat....
