    Happy Saturday Gang!

    I woke up early but still feel tired. I am still a little sick. I scrambled eggs, canned turkey, left over ribeye, onions, and canned green chilis for breakfast. I made hashbrowns for the family. I know canned turkey sounds gross but I have been living off of Italian Sausage for about 2 weeks (taking a break from eggs) ya know? Anyway it was actually pretty good. Looked kind of gross but it tasted good.

    I have house work to do and then I am taking my daughter and her friend to the mall. I need a new blouse for my show next week and I want to find another comfy pair of dress shoes. I literally have been living in my patent leather dansko clogs (for work) since my surgery. The food show will kill my feet so I need something to change into. My furry crocks would be great but they don't quite look nice enough.

    TJ- I am glad your back. I am very sorry to hear about your troubles. Congrats on the new weight

    FutureMrsS- Great Job on the loss Weight training is what you need. Actually the arms change very fast. Trust me I know this get some dumbbells and get to work. I "think" Spark People has great "free" instruction on how to with the dumbbells.

      Morning all...happy saturday.

      I have a whole list of things to do today, but haven't gotten in gear to do any of them yet. One of my to do items is to go to a local meat market I've always wanted to check out...I guess they sell a buch of local produce and specialty cheeses, too...and from the ad I saw, the prices are better than grocery stores. Gonna check it out...don't need to pick up much though.

      I think I'm gonna try zucchini for the first time in my life this weekend. I want to try the zucchini hash browns I've seen some recipes for. I'm a pretty picky eater, so we will see how this goes.

      No luck catching a mouse last night. I looked all over my room for "droppings" and didn't find a thing. I'm starting to think it was an ambien halucination. I let the cat's sleep in my room with me all night...they totally hogged the bed. They are still in here now as I type this...I'm surey they are thinking they live in the lap of luxury as they lay all curled up on my fluffy white down comforter.

      I'm having severe electrolyte issues...I'm gonna try tapering down my water pill to see if it helps but I suspect I will see significant weight gains if I do this. I had a blood test yesterday but they didn't call me with the results so now I have to wait till monday. I had horrible cramps all night last night. Sometimes I can't bend my fingers because of the cramping...most of the times it's my ankles which wakes me while I'm sleeping. It's horribly obnoxious and sometimes painful. During non-Atkins times, a gatoraid would resolve this...but I can't drink that now. I looked at pedialite as an alternative, but the second ingredient was dextrose. Not sure what to do now. I guess I'll just wait.

      Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

        Hi, everybody! Thought I would check in while I had a chance. I've finally got the day off and I have done nothing but run all day. I only have one day a week that I can do nothing, but it never works out that way.

        TJ, I'm sorry about your problems. That must have been tough. Hang in there!

        Congrats to all the losers. My weight is coming off slowly, but I'll take it any way that I can get it.

          Hey all, just checking in on my break at work. Im hangin in there and starting to notice that I'm losing. My clothes fit better and I actually had fun shopping yesterday! WOO HOO!

          TJ - Im really sorry to hear about all you rain related problems. Our basement flooded last fall and it was a nightmare, so I can just imagine how stressed you are. Hope everything works out for you!

          FutureMrs - Congrats! 20 pounds already is amazing!

            TJ I feel for you, I hope things turn around very quick. Remember to walk by faith and not by sight.
            Congrats FutureMrs on your quick weight loss!!!
            FLdoodette that's a great idea about the egg salad, I'm going to make me some right now.
            Alaska canned turkey must be an Alaskan thang, I've never heard of such, but if its good keep on eating, I know personally how you can get tired of eggs after being on Atkins for a while.

            I hope the Whooshie fairy visit us all ;-)

              well its 11pm and i'm totally exhausted! doing 2 hours of workouts this entire week has become pretty do-able, but today i was out playing football and not exactly watching the clock, and 2 hours turned into 2 and a half, and apparently that was my breaking point lol. i am -so- sore tonight. i always take care of my legs after my morning cardio which is generally about 60-90 minutes with massage and heat etc, but today they were still killing me all the way into the afternoon. then i went out and played football for about an hour, on top of doing a few stair runs. i had no idea football worked your back as much as it does. i dont feel weak, just very sore. and my 30 day shred -finally- came tonight after 3 frigging weeks of waiting, so i have that to look forward to in the AM. ouch!
              hope everyone has a nice big wooshy in the morning!!
